The most convenient airline to use for this safari is Kenya Airways and the safari is designed around their current schedule. There will be someone at the airport to assist us through the formalities before we board onto the charter flight that will take us through to Dzanga Sangha. We will get ourselves all settled in and enjoy being in this incredible environment and discuss what our plans will be for the safari.
To view the Western Lowland Gorillas we will divide into smaller groups of 3 and depending on where the gorillas are we can decide how best to arrange this among ourselves, it is also possible for an extra fee to do this on more than one day.
To minimize our contact and potential effect on the gorillas the sighting will be managed to approximately one hour.

An amazing part of being in the jungle like this is being given then opportunity to walk in at night time, like most places there is always a different set of creatures that become mobile at night time and we will try to find these amazing creatures, a highlight would be seeing the tree pangolins.
The Indigenous People that live here in the jungle are the Ba'Aka ( Pygmies ) - They are amazing people that understand and survive in these jungles like no one else, We will have the privilege of being able to spend time with them and get a glimpse of what it takes to survive in this environment.
This is a great way to enjoy being in the jungle is walking along one of the many pathways through the forest with the aim of getting to some of the waterfalls in the area that are also the home of the rarely seen Picathartes birds. For those not keen on this there are other walk options that might intrigue you more.
This is probably one of the most famous forest Bai's in Africa. This amazing jungle space is where many animals like Forest Elephant, Forest Buffalo, Sitatunga and Bongo come out from the jungle into the open to socialize, feed on the grasses and get access to the mineral salts that seep into the mud here. An amazing place that will keep you enthralled through the day .
As we have a good amount of time here today you could repeat one of the activities that we have done already, some of these might be charged for if the require access and permits and we can discuss this while you are here.
We fly today back to Bangui and this will be timed to suit the Kenya Airways flight out of Bangui.
