Welcome to Africa!

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by an Albatros Travel representative and given a short safari briefing before being transferred to your hotel.

 After breakfast and check out you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Nanyuki. On landing you will be met by your own private 4WD vehicle and driver guide. From here its roughly 30minutes to the entrance of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The camp, located deep into the conservancy, set on a 22,000-acre rhino sanctuary in The Ol Pejeta Game Ranch provides you and your family with a wonderful start to your safari. Game drive to camp, arriving in time for lunch. This will be served in your own cottage, with your own staff and cook to cater for you. Timings are totally flexible. Head off as the afternoon game drive to enjoy all the surrounding wildlife in this beautiful conservancy.  Maybe stop off to see the last remaining Northern Rhino, or maybe experience the anti-poaching dog unit, where you get to see, first hand, all the training and expertise that is this wonderful unit.　 Return to camp before dusk.

 Start this day with game viewing in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, pay a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary located in the conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenya National Parks, making it perfect for intimate game-viewing experiences.　 There are southern white rhino and the endangered black rhino and in a special sanctuary the residents some of the Worlds' remaining northern white rhino. Continue with your game viewing experience this afternoon, with the conservancy hosting all of the ‘Big Five’ members. Other than Game drive, there is an opportunity for game walks, horse rides and even camel rides are available as well as nocturnal game drives.

 After breakfast, you will be transferred to the nearest airstrip for a flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be greeted at the Mara North airstrip by the Camp’s driver guide ready to proceed to your camp with a game drive en route. When you arrive at the camp you will be met with an ice cold drink and a given a run down on how the camp works and what to expect. After check in you will be shown to your tents. After a light lunch you have the chance of heading out on your first Mara game drive, before returning to the camp in time for dinner. Mara North Conservancy is a private wilderness area that forms the north-western zone, bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve. The world-class conservancy is a partnership between a few member camps and over 800 Maasai landowners that guarantees an exclusive safari while minimizing the impact on the environment local communities.　 Throughout the year large numbers of herbivores such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles and impalas seek the area for water and grazing. Return back to the camp for meals and drinks and the opportunity to relax and really soak in the African bush.

Enjoy a full day of game viewing inside the Mara reserve with a packed lunch. From July - October you will get a chance of viewing the spectacular annual wildebeest migration.

 Early morning and afternoon game drives inside the Mara North Conservancy. The conservancy boasts of the big five and other plains game. Keep your eyes peeled as you hunt for the last members on your "must see" list.

 Today you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. You will be picked from the domestic flight terminal at Wilson Airport and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your outbound flight.
