From Paternoster you drive via Veldrif and Piketberg back to the N7. You will follow this road over the scenic Piekenierskloof Pass into the Cederberg area.
This area is famous for its citrus orchards and when the fruit trees are in bloom the air is perfumed with their scent. Stop off at one of the many farmstalls along the way and buy yourself oranges fresh from the farm. They are delicious!

The day offers you a lot of exciting activities, the lodge is well positioned for exploring the greater Namakwa Region from the Richtersveld in the north to the shipwrecks in the west, and during the wild-flower season (August / September), they are right where the action is.
