Arrive at Cuiabá Airport and be welcomed by your guide. Transfer to Aymara Lodge, following on paved road for around 100km and more 28km on dirt road, approximately 2h30. Arrival and accommodation at Aymara Lodge. Enjoy a brief introduction to present the surroundings. Dinner and overnight.
The activities on the this day will depend on the time available, the interests and the weather conditions. Some of the possible activities are: canoe paddling, motorboat safari, horseback riding, photo safari, night drive in search of nocturnal animals and walk around the property in search of wildlife. Dinner and overnight.
The activities during the stay will be scheduled with the guide on arrival at the lodge, depending on climate conditions and availability.
Note: The difficulty level of the activities is light to moderate. However, guests with physical conditions may have some difficulties with some of the activities. Please consult us for more information.
Early wake-up and departure to a sunrise walk. After breakfast, check-out and private transfer to Hotel Pantanal Norte. On the way, you will explore one of Pantanal’s most popular destination: Transpantaneira Highway. Follow on 120km on dirt road, approximately 3h. Upon arrival, check-in and lunch. Rest of the day free to enjoy the hotel.
Breakfast and departure to a morning boat trip on Cuiaba river to search for jaguars. After lunch at the lodge, depart for another half day safari searching for more jaguars. The region has the highest density of jaguar population in the entire Pantanal, so during the trip we have high chances to spot the Big Cat, especially from June to October (although not guaranteed). According to weather conditions lunch can be done at the lodge or during the tour. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Have an early breakfast, check-out and then board on private small plane to Caiman Lodge (approximately 1h00 to 1h15 flying). Arrive at Caiman in time for lunch. Afternoon activity. Dinner followed by night activity. Overnight.
Note: In January and from May 1st to November 9th, 2025, there are fixed arrival and departure days at Caiman: ONLY from Thursday to Sunday (3N) and Sunday to Thursday (4N). For the rest of the year, there are no restrictions applied, but there is a minimum 3 night-stay.
