Day 1: Cape Town

Upon arrival Cape Town you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town

Today we fly in early with the Green Cape tour toward "Kirsten Bosch."-Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is a 560-acre botanical garden at the base of the eastern slope of Table Mountain in Cape Town. It is one of eight botanical gardens in South Africa covering five of the six biotopes
Afterwards the drive continues to Stellenbosch/Franschhoek a region known for Cape wine and we follow the Stellenbosch wine route where we visit some wineries with of course tasting the various wines accompanied by lunch.
Afterwards we return towards Cape town where we go to Table Mountain and take the cable elevator up/down where we admire the sunset.

Day 3: Cape Town

Today will be a historical itinerary and we will visit Robben Island > best known because Nelson Mandela was imprisoned here by South Africa's apartheid regime.
V& A waterfront is the historic heart of Cape Town harbor where you can enjoy shopping and a terrace. One of the main attractions for foreign tourists.
Afterwards we drive to the Woodstock area, one of the oldest and hippest neighborhoods in Cape Town.
Castle of good hope -The Castle of good hope is a fortress in the South African city of Cape Town. It was built between 1664 and 1679 by order of the VOC, making it the oldest surviving European structure in South Africa after Rustenburg.
In the evening enjoy sunset at " Lionshead" Lionshead is a mountain in Cape Town, South Africa between Table Mountain and Signal Hill. The mountain is 669 meters high. The peak creates a dramatic backdrop to Cape Town and is part of the Table Mountain National Park. In the 17th century, the Dutch gave the mountain the name Leeuwenkop.

Day 4: Cape Town

Today we will go on the scenic tour.
Sea point Sea Point is an affluent seaside suburb. On sandy beaches such as Milton and Saunder's Rock, you'll find tide pools and playgrounds, as well as beautiful sunset views. The Sea Point Promenade runs along the shoreline and is very popular with walkers. Further from the shore are abundant sushi bars, fast food restaurants and pizzerias. At the colorful Mojo Market, you can buy African handicrafts, drink artisan coffee and listen to live music

Camps Bay -The upscale neighborhood of Camps Bay attracts many people with its fine white sand beach, a natural swimming pool among the rocks and views of the mountain range "the twelve apostles. Behind the beach are chic seafood restaurants, quiet cafes and cocktail bars with terraces overlooking the boardwalk. You can shop for (beach) clothes in the nearby shopping center the Promenade, and the intimate Theatre on the Bay offers drama, musical and cabaret.
Hout Bay-Hout Bay is a port town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is located in a valley on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula, twenty kilometers south of Cape Town. The name "Hout Bay" can refer to the town, the bay on which it lies, or the entire valley.
Chapmans peak drive-Chapman's Peak is a mountain on the western side of the Cape Peninsula, between Hout Bay and Noordhoek in Cape Town, South Africa.                                           This itinerary continues with a visit Cape point national park, Boulders beach where we visit the penguins
 Muizenberg a surfers paradise and known for the colored cottages on the beach.              
 The evening ends with dinner at the V&A waterfront.

Day 5: Knysna

This morning we leave Cape Town towards Knysna which is a good 5 hours from Cape Town but we stop at

Swellendam-Swellendam is a town of 18,000 inhabitants, in the municipality of the same name in the Western Cape Province in the South African district of Overberg. The town is about 250 km east of Cape Town. Swellendam lies at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains.
We continue along the Garden Route to Knysna Knysna, with its famous lagoon and sandstone cliffs (the Knysna Heads) is considered one of the most beautiful coastal towns in South Africa. It is a mandatory stop for anyone driving the Garden Route.

Day 6: Knysna

We depart from Knysna for a day trip to

Oudtshoorn where we visit the Congo caves also visit Congo Cheetah wildlife and Highgate Ostrich Farm.Afterwards we return towards Knysna to our hotel where a blissful dinner awaits us.

Day 7: Knysna

Today a free day in Knysna where you can further admire this beautiful place for yourself.

Day 8: Port Elizabeth

This morning after breakfast we leave for Port Elizabeth a distance of about 3 hours drive.

Between Knysna and Port Elizabeth lies the TsiTsikamme National Park which of course we will not skip.

Trails, waterfalls and wildlife draw visitors to the lush Tsitsikamma National Park. Located along South Africa's scenic Garden Route, the park covers 80 kilometers of coastline and stretches from the mouth of the Storms River to Nature's Valley. Go on several adventures.

Afterwards, we drive on to Port Elisabeth where we spend 2 days.

Day 9: Port Elizabeth

Today we go on Safari in the Addo Elephant Park , for this we provide a full day where we do a game drive .                                                                                                          The Addo Elephant National Park is a game park near Port Elizabeth. The park is one of South Africa's twenty national parks. The park receives about 120,000 visitors a year. About 54% are international visitors from mainly Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom

Day 10: Johannesburg

After our breakfast, we will head to Port Elizabeth airport at leisure where we will take the flight to Johannesburg and be met for our transfer to our hotel.
Just unwind at the hotel and afterwards we will have dinner in Johannesburg.

Day 11: Johannesburg

Today we will visit the widely known slum area "Soweto" we will visit 

HECTOR PIETERSON MUSEUM -The Hector Pieterson* monument and museum opened in 2002 in Soweto, not far from the spot where 12-year-old Hector was shot on June 16, 1976 during the Soweto uprising, which today is a symbol of resistance to the brutality of the apartheid government.                                                                                                      Via. MANDELA HOUSE The iconic home of Nelson Mandela and his wife Winnie Mandela, who spent their lives in this house after apartheid. .We pass the murmur of famous Archbishop Desmond Tutu who won a Nobel Prize and criticized apartheid through religion.

BARAGWANATH ROAD-We leave for the heart of Soweto, passing Baragwanath Hospital, a huge cab stand and the historic suburb of Diepkloof.
ORLANDO TOWERS by elevator down the side of the western cooling tower and get a 360-degree view of Soweto from the viewing platform.
APARTHEIDS MUSEUM-An initial visit to the Apartheid Museum is bound to bring many to tears, as it is a raw emotional journey about how people made in God's image can mistreat each other as if there were different species. The brutality, the torture, the ruthlessness is beyond what words can describe. 
NELSON MANDELA BRIDGE-The largest cable-stayed bridge in South Africa, the 284-meter Nelson Mandela Bridge, begins virtually at the end of Jan Smuts Avenue and connects the Constitutional Hill neighborhood in Braamfontein to the cultural district in Newtown, in the heart of the city's downtown renewal project.
Return to the hotel where we will have dinner after freshening up.

Day 12: Johannesburg

An hour's drive from Johannesburg is the Bothongo Rhino & Lions reserve where we can spot a variety of animals including https://www.rhinolion.co.za

Day 13: Gauteng

After our breakfast we leave for our final accommodation The Cradle Boutique Hotel.

Today we visit Maropeng Cradle of Humankind and depending on the crowds, Sterckfontein Caves.-The Cradle of Humankind is a large complex of caves, valleys and rivers that have produced some of the oldest and most informative fossils of human-like (ape-man or human ancestors) in the world. Sterkfontein alone has produced more than one-third of all the humanoid fossils ever discovered in the world. The archaeological site is anchored by the Sterkfontein Caves and the Maropeng Visitor Center.

Afterwards, we drive on to Pretoria.

Pretoria is the administrative capital of South Africa. The city is located in the metropolitan municipality of Tshwane within the province of Gauteng and had a population of 741,651 in 2011. Pretoria is located about 50 kilometers north of Johannesburg. The city lies in a warm, sheltered and fertile valley surrounded by hills

Day 14: End of Itinerary

After breakfast transfer to Johannesburg airport, where we take our return flight to Cape Town. and then back to Amsterdam.
