Day 1: Greater Windhoek

Arrival at Hosea Kutako Airport. Clear customs and immigration. Then proceed to the Arrivals Hall where you pick up your rental car.  Drive to the Onjala Lodge via Windhoek, where you will spend your first night in Namibia.

PLEASE take special note that vehicles in Namibia are generally MANUAL and not Automatic.

Days 2 - 3: Waterberg Plateau National Park

After breakfast at leisure, make your way to the Waterberg Plateau Park past Okahandja. Optionally you can also do a morning Game Drive on the Okapuka Lodge before you depart. En route, you might want to visit the Okahandja Woodcarvers Craft Market. You have more than enough time to spend at the Waterberg Resort doing various optional hiking trails or spend some time at the pool overlooking the magnificent landscape.

Day 4: Etosha National Park

After breakfast head for the Etosha National Park via Tsumeb. Enter the park at the Von Lindequist Gate. Welcome to the LIVING EDEN !!! Game drive your way through the park from Namutoni to Halali, where you will spend the first night inside the park. Alternative you can exit the Park and overnight at the Mokuti Etosha Lodge

Please note  that visitors may only vacate their vehicles at Rest Camps or designated points.

Days 5 - 6: Etosha South

Check-out of Halali or Mokuti Etosha Lodge and game drive your way to the Okaukuejo Resort where you will spend 2 nights.   Animals are most active in the early morning and late afternoon . It is best  to game drive your way immediately after breakfast in order to maximize the chance of good viewings. It is worth imitating their behaviour by driving between various waterholes searching for animals.

Day 7: Twyfelfontein

It is time to say good bye to the bosses of the "savannah." Leave the Etosha National Park via  the Anderson Gate and head for the Twyfelfontein.  Today you have enough time to explore the vastness and the beauty of the landscape en route to Twyfelfontein. There are many optional sightings along the way like the Petrified Forest, the Organ Pipes, Twyfelfontein Engravings and the Burnt Mountain. If time allows you can also visit the Living Damara Village shortly before Twyfelfontein - it's a great family adventure.

Days 8 - 9: Erongo Mountains

On the road again !!! Head for your next "home" - The Ai Aiba Rockpaining Lodge in the heart of the Erongo Mountains.  On the second day, an action day with the Bushmen is included...... the kids will love it !!! You have a short drive from Ai Aiba to Omandumba where you will find the Bushmen. A bushwalk with hunting, snaring, tracking, lighting fire and collecting bush food - singing and dancing, making ropes, learning a few words and a little song, shoot a bow, throw a spear. It will be a day, the kids will never forget !

Days 10 - 11: Swakopmund

Pack your bags and off you go again !!!  Make your way from Omaruru to the picturesque coastal town of Swakopmund via Karibib and Usakos.  Explore Swakopmund's  environments and/or participate in the plenty of activities  on offer in Swakopmund.  Optional activities include camel rides, scenic flights, quad-biking in the dunes and sky diving. Alternatively, visit the dramatic lunar landscape in the Namib Naukluft Park, the Welwitschia plants.

Days 12 - 13: Sossusvlei

Continue your travels to Sossusvlei via the harbour town of Walvis Bay, the Kuiseb Canyon, the Gaub Canyon and Solitaire towards Sesriem. You spend two nights at the beautifully located Desert Hills Lodge.  A trip to the Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon is highly recommended. The Sesriem and Sossusviei area has a variety of camps and lodges with shuttles to the dunes – seeing the dunes at sunrise is unforgettable.

Optionally you can also do the absolutely magical and fabulous Namib Sky Hot-air Balloon Flight over the Namib Desert in the early hours of the morning.

Days 14 - 15: Central Namibia

Drive through the scenic areal and mountains of the south of Namibia on to Ibenstein via Windhoek.

Welcome to this9000 hectare private nature reserve, located a mere 60 minute’s drive from Windhoek.

Farm Ibenstein in the heart of Namibia, just one hour drive away from Windhoek, to kickstart your Namibian adventure. This is the ideal place to start and end your safari holiday. The farm covers an area of about ,000 hectares and consists of grass savannas and African mountain landscapes.

Day 16: End of Itinerary

Depending on the flight departures - short drive to the Hosea Kutako International Airport. Drop-off your rental car at the airport and check-in for your flight home.  Should you wish to extend your holiday, let us know.
