Day 2: Thornybush Game Reserve

Being on a safari, means early morning wake up calls from your guide as the sun rises over the National Park.

Tea and coffee is served in the lodges main dining area, before departing on a morning open vehicle safari drive. ‘

Your guide and tracker will follow up on any spoor (animal footprints) that can be found on the gravel roads to track down the movement of the animals overnight. The morning safari drives are exciting to say as much, anxiously waiting to see what your guide and tracker have located. Getting up close and personal with the animals in the Private game reserve is a daily basis, as your guide can travel of the road to get you amazing photographic opportunities.

On returning to the Lodge, a well-deserved breakfast is served before enjoying the heat of the day at the Lodge, in the comfort of your room, by the swimming pool and sipping on a cocktail at the Lodges well stocked Bar.

A light lunch and High tea are available at the Lodges main dining area before returning to the Open vehicle to enjoy a sunset safari drive in the Africa Wilderness. Your guide and tracker will make use of powerful spot lights to search for the animals once the sun has set over the African Bush.

Dinner is served once again at the Lodge, before retiring to your en-suite room for the night.
