Arrive in Cape Town for 4 nights 

On arrival at Cape Town Airport you are met and transferred to your V&A Waterfront hotel for your 4 night stay. The rest of day is at leisure.

You begin with a journey by the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the Cape Peninsula. Afterwards you travel into the city where you enjoy some of the sights of the city: the Castle of Good Hope, a stroll in Company gardens, the Bo-Kaap quarter and Greenmarket square, 

Today is a full tour of the beautiful Cape Peninsula tour. It includes a scenic coastal drive along Chapmans Peak; the Cape of Good Hope National Park and Cape Point; viewing the Penguins at Boulders Bay; Simon’s Town historical naval base and ends with the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

You enjoy a scenic tour of the Cape Winelands today. A combination of the favourable effects of the two major ocean currents meeting off the Cape makes the climate in the area perfect for the acres of vineyards.  Visit a couple of wine estates, enjoy a cellar tour, explore Franschhoek and Stellenbosch and have a lovely lunch at a wine estate (extra).

Your guide for the Garden Route section collects you  and you enjoy a scenic touring/transfer via the Route 62 to the Little Karoo.

Travel to Knysna  for 2 nights

Today you spend the morning visiting  some of the other sights of the area seeing the Swartberg Pass or visiting an ostrich farm. Then you head over the Outeniqua Mountains and take a scenic lakeside drive to Knysna. 

Today you enjoy a tour to the natural beauty of the Tsitsikamma region. You first drive, via the awe-inspiring Bloukrans bridge, to the Tsitsikamma Coastal Park which stretches 75km along the southern Cape coast. This superb area of primeval forest and wild coastline is incredibly beautiful with rugged ravines, streams and waterfalls. The vegetation descends to the Storms River mouth with its dramatic coastal scenery and you can follow a short walking trail through the indigenous forest flora to the suspension bridge.

Here you enjoy a lunch at Bramon Wine Estate (excluded unless specified otherwise) before visiting the magnificent Birds of Eden aviary which is the largest free flight walk-through aviary in the world. Plus there is time to visit EITHER the Monkeyland primate sanctuary, home to numerous rare species of monkeys from around the world, or Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness centre, for a close and safe encounter with the lesser cats of South Africa as well as cheetah and leopard. (Note you can also opt to visit Monkeyland and Tenikwa if you prefer). We head back to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Today you fly from George Airport to Kruger Intl Airport (Via Johannesburg) and then transfer to your country lodge.

Enjoy a Panoramic touring transfer to visit the sights of the Blyde River Canyon en route to your safari lodge. Enjoy a big five safari in the Timbavati Game Reserve for 3 nights on safari.

Your experienced game ranger and local Shangaan tracker are keen to share with you their extensive knowledge and love of the African bush. The days starts with an early morning game drive, then after brunch you have some time to relax around the lodge or enjoy a dip in the plunge pool. During the afternoon game drive you stop for sundowners whilst watching the sun set over the awe-inspiring wilderness before enjoying a night drive.
