Days 2 - 5: Linyanti Concession

 Friday & Saturday & Sunday, & Monday March 20-23 , 2026 - Wilderness King's Pool

This morning, we will fly to Maun, Botswana.     Our pilots are waiting  to fly us north to Linyanti Wildlife Reserve.  Here we will be  greeted by our safari guides.  Have your camera and binoculars ready for our first game drive. This is  where our safari begins!

Wilderness King's Pool  offers a variety of enriching safari experiences:

  • Game Drives: Twice daily (day and night) game drives to observe a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and wild dogs.

  • Bird Watching: The reserve is an internationally recognized "Important Bird Area", offering exceptional birding opportunities with species such as Dickinson's kestrel, African skimmers, and southern carmine bee-eaters.

  • Boat Cruises: Enjoy sunset cruises on the Linyanti River, providing unique perspectives of the landscape and its inhabitants.

Days 6 - 9: Okavango Delta

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday  March 24-27, 2026 -  4 nights at Wilderness Qorokwe

Leisurely breakfast and we bid farewell to the fine camp staff at King's Pool. 

Our next flight take us to a Wildlife Haven!

Spectacularly positioned,  Qorokwe Camp blends seamlessly into this vast, wildlife-rich corner of the Delta.

Here are the activities that are available for us:

  1. Game Drives
    Experience thrilling game drives through the pristine wilderness of the Okavango Delta. The drives are led by expert guides who ensure that we get the best wildlife sightings, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as other unique species such as wild dogs, cheetahs, and giraffes.

  2. Night Drives
    Discover the nocturnal side of the African bush during a night drive. As darkness falls, you’ll have the chance to see predators and other creatures that are active after sunset, such as owls, hyenas, and nocturnal mammals.

  3. Mokoro (Traditional Canoe) Excursions
    Glide silently through the Okavango Delta's tranquil channels in a traditional mokoro canoe. This activity provides a peaceful and unique way to observe the abundant birdlife and smaller wildlife that thrive in the waterways, as well as a close-up view of the lush vegetation.

  4. Walking Safaris
    Accompanied by an experienced guide, explore the wilderness on foot. Walking safaris give you a deeper understanding of the smaller details of the ecosystem, such as tracks, plants, and insects, and offer an intimate perspective of the bush.

  5. Cultural Experiences

Days 10 - 11: Okavango Delta

 Saturday & Sunday,  March 28 & 29, 2026 - 2 nights at Wilderness Tubu Tree

After breakfast, our guides take us back to the airstrip for our next  light aircraft transfer to Wilderness Tubu Tree located in the heart of the Delta.   

Here are the activities available:

  • Game Drives
    Experience thrilling morning and afternoon game drives led by expert guides. The drives offer incredible opportunities to spot wildlife, including the Big Five, along with other predators, antelope, and unique species of the Delta.

  • Mokoro (Traditional Canoe) Excursions Glide through the peaceful waters of the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro. This eco-friendly boat ride allows you to silently explore the channels and waterways, with close-up encounters with birds, smaller wildlife, and the stunning landscapes around you.

  • Fishing
    Experience the thrill of catch-and-release fishing, where you can cast your line into the Delta's waterways. Fish species such as tilapia and catfish can be caught while enjoying the peaceful environment.

  • Star Beds
    Sleep out under the African night sky with our Star Bed experience. Be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the night, a jackal’s cry in the distance, or the gentle rumbling of elephants.

Days 12 - 13: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Monday,& Tuesday March 30 & 31, 2026 -   2 nights at Victoria Falls

This morning, we will take a light aircraft transfer from Wilderness Tubu Tree to Kasane airport, where we will clear customs and exit Botswana prior to our flight to  Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Our local guide will be waiting to take us on our private  guided tour of the mighty Victoria Falls.

Wildlife Viewing from the Deck: Spot animals at the waterhole from the Safari Club’s viewing deck.
