Imagine visiting the Poás Volcano, which is an active 2,697-metre stratovolcano in central Costa Rica and is located within Poas Volcano National Park. Not only does it have one of the largest craters in the world, but it is located in the mountainous forests of the Cordillera Volcanica.

A tour of Cinchona in Costa Rica is an unforgettable experience that will take you to the heart of one of the country's most beautiful and historic regions. Cinchona is a small village in the province of Alajuela, located about an hour's drive from San Jose. It is named after the cinchona tree, whose bark contains quinine, a key ingredient in the treatment of malaria. The village is home to the famous Cinchona Botanical Gardens, which feature over 700 species of plants, including numerous exotic orchids and bromeliads. The gardens are also home to many species of birds, including toucans, hummingbirds, and tanagers.

Today you will experience Costa Ricas wildlife to the max, get ready to meet many diferent animal species, and tour Rio Frio. This river is part of the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge – a Ramsar site- here you will find one of the most diverse flora and fauna habitats in Costa Rica. Enjoy a night hike in your hotel´s amazing trails!
