Arrive to Ranong by air from Bangkok. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore Ranong town. Discover Thailands best kept underwater treasure at Surin Islands Marine National Park. Your day trip to Surin Islands starts with 1,5hr transfer to Khuraburi pier where you will embark on a speedboat excursion (join-in tour) to Surin Islands.
This small island group is protected by Thai government and only simple national park accommodation has been allowed on the main island. Thailands best coral reefs are found here thriving and in shallow water. Enjoy the day of snorkelling in crystal clear waters, visit Moken village and sun bathe on paradise beach. Snorkeling guide (usually Moken), mask and fins and buffet lunch is included in the tour. Return to Khuraburi late afternoon and transfer back to Ranong for the night.

After breakfast transfer to Ranong pier for stamping out from Thailand and travel to Myanmar immigration for stamping into Myanmar before heading out to the Mergui Islands. You should have swimming wear ready as this is an island hopping and snorkelling tour boat stopping at several beautiful islands and beaches before reaching Nyaung Oo Phee Island where you will check in to the cozy private island resort lunch time. Most of the boats come here for lunch and play and depart back to Kawthaung around 3pm. In the afternoon you can snorkel or kayak around the coral reefs by the island or take a trail to explore the jungle covered interior. Dinner under the stars with a fire show (not always guaranteed).
Mornings are always perfect time to enjoy peace and quiet before the beach and restaurant busy when boats arrive for lunch and afternoon island time. If you are diver you can join a diving excursion with local dive master to explore some of the best dive sites of Mergui Archipelago which are not too far from the island. You can hire full set of diving gear at the resort. Make sure to book in advance to be guaranteed space in boats heading out for diving. Other island visits, water sports activities and massages are also available on request.
Island time. Hopefully by now you have already forgotten hurries and worries and tuned into slow paced and relaxing island life. Divers can do more dives on this day and others can take excursions to nearby islands or simply relax at the resort.
This afternoon around 3pm you will depart back to Kawthaung by shared speedboat and arrive to town around 5pm. Short 15min transfer to Victoria Cliff Resort where you hopefully reach by sundowner time. Enjoy panoramic view over the Andaman Sea and Mergui Islands and savour tasty Thai or Burmese cuisine for dinner.
Breakfast and free time until transfer to Kawthaung airport for your departure flight to transfer to Kawthaung jetty where you can take a boat back to Ranong. Thailand. From Ranong you can either drive to Phuket or other destinations or catch a flight to Bangkok (DMK).
