As you disembark, you will be warmly greeted by a representative and fast-tracked through immigration and assisted with your luggage. 

Meet your driver and transfer in a private vehicle to your hotel. 

Day 2: Rovos Rail

After breakfast, check out and meet a driver.

Transfer to the Rovos Rail Station.

This meander is a perfect illustration of South Africa as a world in one country. Travel the grasslands of the gold-rich Highveld to the haunting barrenness of the Great Karoo; trundle through the spectacular mountain ranges and scenic winelands of the Cape. Journey’s end is Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa, cradled by the imposing bulk of Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head. Highlights of the north- and southbound routes include a visit to the historic village of Matjiesfontein, an authentically preserved Victorian Village founded as a refreshment stop in 1890, which also boasts an impressive museum on the platform. Another stop is made in Kimberley to visit the Diamond Mine Museum and the world’s largest man-made excavation, the Big Hole. Available in reverse.

Arriving in Cape Town.

After breakfast, meet your guide and embark on a Full Cape Peninsular Tour

After breakfast, meet your guide an embark on a Private Cape Town City and  Table Mountain Tour.

After breakfast, check out and meet your guide.

After lunch your guide will bid you farewell as he drops you at your Guesthouse.

Day 11: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After breakfast, meet your driver and transfer to Cape Town International Airport.

Board a scheduled flight bound for Victoria Falls (the price of the flight is not included in the above price).

On arrival in Victoria Falls, clear immigration and collect your luggage. 

Meet a driver in the arrival hall and transfer to your hotel. 

In the late afternoon, transfer to the jetty and embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. 

Day 12: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After breakfast, meet a guide and embark on a Private Tour of Victoria Falls, followed by lunch at the Lookout Cafe and then a 13-minute helicopter flight over the Falls.

Day 14: Hwange National Park

After breakfast, check out and meet a driver at the agreed time. 

Drive toward Hwange National Park.  Meet your guide at the main entrance and head into camp, game viewing along the way. 

Settle into camp, enjoy a delicious high tea before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. 

Day 15: Hwange National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game-viewing activities on safari with a guide and fellow guests.

Your camp will also offer walking safaris, highly recommendly.

Day 17: Chobe River Front

After breakfast and your morning game-viewing activity, meet your guide at the agreed time and return to the main entrance.  Meet a driver and continue onto Chobe, Botswana.

Upon arrival at the Kasane Immigration Office, you will be warmly greeted by a dedicated Zambezi Queen Collection representative, who will provide assistance with your luggage and guide you through the passport control process. You’ll then take a boat transfer to the Chobe Princess, where you will be welcomed with an introduction and a delectable lunch on board. Lunch is available until 14h00 and guests arriving later will be served a mid-afternoon snack. The afternoon is free for leisure activities, or if time permits, you can join a late afternoon river safari. In the evening, savour a delicious 3-course dinner, after which you can truly unwind and enjoy the serene African night.

Day 18: Chobe River Front

Experience the convenience of our flexible activity schedule allowing you and fellow guests onboard to choose the timing for three two-hour activities each day. Options include: guided water-based game viewing, birding, fishing, cultural tours and photographic safaris.

Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea served from 06h00 on the upper deck. Early mornings are perfect for activities like Tiger fishing or birding excursions. Back on board, indulge in a hearty buffet breakfast from 08h00. After breakfast, immerse yourself in the local culture with a village tour, followed by a scenic game cruise along Chobe National Park aboard a tender boat. Indulge in a delicious onboard lunch and take time to relax by the splash pool or dive into a good book. Later in the day, revel in the panoramic surroundings with another thrilling tender boat safari. End your day with a mouth-watering dinner on the upper deck, embracing the serene African ambiance.

Day 19: Chobe River Front

Seize the opportunity to make the most of your day with the flexibility offered by our activity schedule. Tailor your experience by selecting the timing for the three two-hour activities available daily, including guided water-based game viewing, birding expeditions, fishing excursions, and photographic safaris.

Embark on your final full day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea. What early morning activity have you not enjoyed yet or do you wish to enjoy again? After breakfast on board, you have the option for a game cruise on the water. Take time to relax and enjoy the buffet lunch, indulging in some well-deserved rest. Mid-afternoon, we recommend you head out for a final tender boat safari to soak up the spectacular sunset. For your last night on board, enjoy the sights and sounds of the African bush with a night cap under the stars with friends, new and old, after a delightful dinner.

Day 20: End of Itinerary

Start your morning with a fresh juice or freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea. Be on the lookout for wildlife as you enjoy a morning cruise during your buffet breakfast. Prepare to disembark the Chobe Princess for passport control. If you have an onward flight, a short road transfer will take you to Kasane Airport. Alternatively, if you’re continuing your African adventure, meet your transfer representative at Kasane Immigration Office for a convenient road transfer to your next destination.
