Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Cape Town offers a spectacular combination of dramatic mountain scenery, rich history, diverse cultures, and stunning coastal landscapes.
Your day begins with a guided exploration of the city itself, including the historic Company’s Garden, the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood with its cobbled streets and brightly painted homes, and the bustling city center where old Cape Dutch architecture blends with modern cafés, galleries, and local markets. Along the way, your guide will share the fascinating history of Cape Town — from its early colonial beginnings and maritime importance to the more recent transformation of South Africa.
The highlight of the day is a visit to the iconic Table Mountain, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. Breakfast, tour
The full-day Cape Peninsula tour is one of the most spectacular scenic touring days anywhere in South Africa and showcases the incredible diversity of landscapes surrounding Cape Town. The day combines dramatic coastlines, mountain passes, charming seaside villages, wildlife encounters, and some of the most iconic scenery on the continent.
Departing Cape Town after breakfast, the journey initially hugs the Atlantic Seaboard, passing through the beautiful coastal suburbs of Camps Bay and Clifton, with the towering Twelve Apostles mountain range rising dramatically above the ocean. Continuing south, the route winds toward the charming harbor village of Hout Bay, where there is the option to enjoy a short boat cruise to Seal Island or simply wander the harbor and local craft market.
From Hout Bay, the tour continues along the world-famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, considered one of the most breathtaking coastal roads in the world. Carved into the cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean, this spectacular route offers endless panoramic viewpoints and photographic opportunities as the road snakes its way toward the southern reaches of the peninsula.
The highlight of the day is Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where rugged cliffs plunge into the ocean and dramatic scenery stretches endlessly in every direction. Guests can ride the funicular or walk up to the historic lighthouse viewpoint overlooking the meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The reserve itself is also home to baboons, ostrich, antelope, and an abundance of birdlife.
After exploring Cape Point, the tour continues north along the False Bay coastline toward Simon’s Town and Boulders Beach, famous for its resident colony of endangered African penguins. Elevated boardwalks allow for wonderfully close viewing of the penguins in their natural environment while still protecting the fragile coastal habitat.
Lunch is typically enjoyed at one of the peninsula’s excellent seaside restaurants, often overlooking the ocean or one of the small fishing harbors along the route.
The return to Cape Town passes through the charming coastal communities of Kalk Bay and Muizenberg before arriving back in the city in the late afternoon.
This is a wonderfully varied touring day that combines natural beauty, wildlife, history, photography, and relaxed coastal exploration, and it consistently ranks as one of the highlights of any visit to Cape Town.

Arrive in time for an afternoon game viewing activity.
Set within the remote and wildlife-rich Linyanti region of northern Botswana, Linyanti Expeditions offers an intimate and authentic safari experience that captures the spirit of classic African exploration while still providing a high level of comfort and style. Positioned along the famous Linyanti Marsh system, the camp sits in one of Botswana’s most productive wildlife corridors, particularly renowned for its exceptional elephant concentrations and predator activity during the dry season.
The camp itself is intentionally small and understated, designed to evoke the feel of an old-style mobile safari while incorporating thoughtful modern comforts. Accommodation consists of spacious Meru-style expedition tents with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, hot bucket showers, and private decks overlooking the surrounding bush. What makes the Linyanti region so special is the diversity and sheer density of wildlife. The marshes and waterways also attract abundant birdlife and plains game, creating consistently excellent safari viewing throughout the year.

This morning after an activity you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to your next camp, Khwai Lediba or Leadwood in the Khwai concession of the Okavango Delta.
Arrive in time for an afternoon game viewing activity.
Nestled along the banks of the Khwai River on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai Lediba offers a beautifully intimate safari experience in one of Botswana’s most wildlife-rich ecosystems. Surrounded by floodplains, riverine forests, and open grasslands, the camp enjoys exceptional year-round game viewing with frequent sightings of elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and wild dog moving through the concession.
The camp itself is small and understated, blending naturally into the surrounding landscape while maintaining a relaxed and elegant safari atmosphere. Spacious tented suites are elevated on wooden decks and feature en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, and private verandas overlooking the waterways and floodplains beyond. The design combines classic safari style with contemporary comfort, creating a peaceful and welcoming retreat after each day’s activities.
One of the major advantages of the Khwai region is the diversity of safari experiences available. In addition to traditional game drives, guests can often enjoy mokoro excursions through the waterways, guided walking safaris, and night drives — activities not typically permitted inside Botswana’s national parks. This creates a far more immersive safari experience with the opportunity to experience the bush from multiple perspectives.
Khwai Lediba is particularly well suited to travelers seeking a quieter, more intimate Botswana safari with excellent guiding, beautiful scenery, and consistently strong wildlife viewing in a relaxed camp environment.

The Khwai region is renowned for its remarkable diversity of wildlife. Elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and large antelope herds move through the concession regularly, while predators such as lion, leopard, hyena, and African wild dog are frequently encountered during game drives. The combination of permanent water sources and open habitats creates consistently strong game viewing throughout much of the year.
One of the major highlights of staying in the Khwai concession is the variety of activities available. In addition to traditional morning and afternoon game drives, guests may also enjoy mokoro excursions through the delta channels, guided walking safaris, and night drives — a rare privilege in Botswana that allows for sightings of nocturnal wildlife seldom seen during daytime activities.
Evenings at Khwai Leadwood are wonderfully atmospheric, with lantern-lit dinners, campfire gatherings beneath the stars, and the sounds of the African bush surrounding camp.
Khwai Leadwood is ideal for travelers seeking an authentic Botswana safari experience that combines excellent wildlife viewing, intimate camp atmosphere, exceptional guiding, and the ability to experience the Delta ecosystem from multiple perspectives.
Activities focus heavily on immersive safari experiences, including day and night game drives, walking safaris, and seasonal water-based activities when water levels permit. Night drives are particularly rewarding here, offering opportunities to encounter many of the region’s nocturnal species rarely seen elsewhere.
Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities.
The Khwai region is widely regarded as one of Botswana’s premier wildlife-viewing areas due to its remarkable diversity of habitats and year-round concentrations of animals. Situated along the northeastern edge of the Okavango Delta bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai combines permanent waterways, seasonal floodplains, open grasslands, and riverine forests, creating an incredibly rich ecosystem that supports a wide variety of species throughout the year.
Wildlife viewing in the Khwai area is consistently excellent, particularly for elephant, with large breeding herds regularly moving through the concession and gathering around the waterways. Buffalo herds are also common, along with giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, impala, and red lechwe thriving within the floodplain environments.
The region is especially well known for its predator activity. Lion sightings are frequent, leopard are regularly encountered along the riverine woodlands, and spotted hyena are abundant throughout the area. Khwai is also considered one of Botswana’s better regions for viewing African wild dog, particularly during the dry season months when packs become more active and easier to track.
Birdlife is exceptional, with the waterways and marsh systems attracting a huge variety of resident and migratory species, making the area particularly rewarding for birding enthusiasts.
One of the major advantages of the Khwai concession compared to Botswana’s national parks is the flexibility of safari activities. In addition to traditional game drives, the area allows for:
- Night drives
- Guided walking safaris
- Mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions
- Seasonal boating activities
This creates a far more immersive safari experience and offers opportunities to encounter nocturnal species and appreciate the smaller details of the ecosystem that are often missed on traditional safaris.
Because wildlife moves freely between the Moremi Reserve and the Khwai concession, game viewing remains dynamic and varied throughout the year, making the Khwai region one of the most rewarding and well-rounded safari destinations in all of Botswana.
Activities focus heavily on immersive safari experiences, including day and night game drives, walking safaris, and seasonal water-based activities when water levels permit. Night drives are particularly rewarding here, offering opportunities to encounter many of the region’s nocturnal species rarely seen elsewhere.
After a morning activity, connect with your scheduled charter flight to Maun. On arrival connect with your regional flight to Cape Town, where on arrival you connect with your international flight home.
