Welcome to Africa! As you arrive in Nairobi, Kenya, you will be met by our representative for your road transfer to the Ole Sereni Hotel, where you will enjoy your first night in Africa!
This evening you enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel.
Enjoy your day at leisure. Depending on your time of arrival in Nairobi, if you have some extra time or wish to arrive a day earlier we highly recommend the following optional tours, available at additional cost: Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen Museum and Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage visit.
After breakfast this morning, you will meet up with your fellow travelers and all transfer to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara, the true start of your great migration safari. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your safari guide off your flight and proceed through the park to the Mara Safari Club, where you will spend your first two nights in the bush.
Spend you days enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara. During your stay here, we have included a hot air balloon ride over the Mara plains.
Enjoy breakfast and an early morning game drive before transferring to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, during the peak season* you will connect with a flight into the Amboseli. All other months you will be met and depart with a packed lunch for your road transfer to Amboseli National Park (a drive of approximately 4 hours). Once you reach the Park, you will enjoy a game drive en route to Ol Tukai Lodge where you will spend the next two nights.
Enjoy your days viewing wildlife with the incredible Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop!
After breakfast, you will transfer by road to the border town of Namanga (a drive of approximately 4-hours). After clearing immigration, you will meet up with your Tanzania guide who will then transfer you into Arusha for lunch. You then continue to Lake Manyara National Park, home to one of the Rift Valley’s numerous alkaline lakes, which apart from its abundant bird life, is known for its tree-climbing lions. You will enjoy a game drive through the Park en route to the Escarpment Lodge for the evening.
This morning you will enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park followed by brunch at the lodge. You then proceed to a Masai Village where the elder will take you around and explain their way of life, you get to learn all about their traditions. You get to enjoy interactions with the local Masai, take a look inside their homes and ask any questions you may have. You then proceed to Olduvai Gorge to visit the site where the first human remains were discovered. After a day of adventure your guide takes you up to the rim of the crater where you will be spending your next two nights. You will arrive in time for dinner.

This morning following breakfast your migration safari will continue. Depending on the time of year, you will either fly or drive in and you will stay at the camp that is best situated for prime game viewing.
Tomorrow, wake up early and spend the entire day on game drives in Serengeti National Park and hopefully you will get to witness the spectacular migration crossings. Return to camp for sundowners and dinner.
Bid farewell to the Serengeti as you transfer by road to the Kogatende airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will enjoy lunch before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will connect with your international flight home.
