Arrival and Transfer to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park (205km)

The Makgadikgadi Pans Game Reserve is a salt pan– with an area of 3 900 squire km is situated in the middle of the dry savanna of north-eastern Botswana. The pan is all that remains of the formerly enormous Lake Makgadikgadi.
The pans themselves are salty desert whose only plant life is a thin layer of blue-green algae. During the wet season, the pan National Park becomes an important habitat for migrating animals including wildebeest and one of Africa’s biggest zebra populations, together with the large predators that prey on them. The wet season also brings migratory birds such as ducks, geese, and Great White Pelicans.

On arrival at Maun Airport (MUB) you will be met and transferred to the Planet Baobab lodge which is located in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pan National Park. Depending on arrival times you will have time for an afternoon game viewing activity.

Activities at Makgadikgadi Pans National Park

You will have one early morning game activity in the National Park and have the afternoon free for any one of the optional tours which may include the following;
• Walk with the bush people (the bushmen)
• Quad biking into the pan
• Game walks/Nature walks with a professional guide
• Night game drives
Dinner and overnight at the Planet Baobab Hotel.

Transfer to Okavango Delta

On this day you will be transfer to Maun International Airport for your charter flight to the Okavango Delta. The camp is only accessible by air.
On arrival, you will be assigned a tour guide who will be in charge of all your activities. It is with this guide that you will have to finalize your activities and make all arrangements, all included in the package. These include mokoro rides, game walks, fixed-wing flights over the delta, and village tours to meet the San/Basarwa/bushpeople (optional and at your own account).

Your overnight stay will be at the Delta Camp (all-inclusive).

Activities in the Delta

This is your second day in the delta. With the help of your assigned guide, you will be able to do the mokoro rides along the many water channels of the Okavango. On a good day, you will be able to see loads of birdlife, lions, elephants, buffalo, and giraffes, to mention but a few. You will also be able to do horseback safaris or visit the nearby bushpeople homesteads. The whole day will be at your disposal.

Your overnight stay will be at the Delta Camp (all-inclusive).

After breakfast, you will have the chance to do some more exploration of the Okavango Delta or you take this time to relax before the next leg of your trip.

Air Transfer to Chobe National Park + Half Safari

After breakfast and check out, you will be flown to the Chobe National Park where upon arrival at Chobe Safari Lodge you will have time to rest and check in. 

After lunch, your Chobe safari starts with a Boat Cruise on the Chobe River. This will be three hours of game viewing from the boat.
You will leave the river at around 17:00 for your hotel.

Road Transfer  to Victoria Falls + Sunset Cruise

After Breakfast you will embark on a morning game drive in the Chobe National Park. This time of day again is the best for finding the big cats, and chances of encountering the nocturnal hunters are not uncommon. Around mid to late morning you will start off to Victoria Falls, making it on time for lunch. After check in you will have time to relax and recoup before you next activity

You will be picked up at 16:00 for the Sunset Boat Cruise on the Zambezi River. This two-hour boat cruise includes return transfers, snacks, soft drinks, wines, beers, and spirits.

Guided Tour of The Falls + Optional Tours and Boma Dinner

Your guide will meet you at 8am for the Guided Tour of Victoria Falls. This two-hour trip will take you to the falls via the Victoria Falls National Park and end at the open curio market after the falls tour.

You will also have some time to add optional activities, shopping or just relaxing at the hotel. Your guide will assist with optional activities bookings. Optional Activities may include the following: white water Rafting, Bungee jumping helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls, Zipline, elephant back safari tiger fishing and lots more.

Dinner will be at the award-winning Boma Restaurant. You will be picked up at 19h00 and expect to be back at 21:30

HWANGE NATIONAL  PARK SAFARIS

This day you leave Victoria Falls for Hwange National park. You depart at 10:00 for us to be in time for lunch at Camp Hwange, almost 200 km from Victoria Falls. After lunch, we will take a late afternoon game drive that runs from 16:00 and well into the night.

Full-Day Safari In Hwange National Park

Today you take a full-day safari in the Hwange National park, depart at 07:00 soon after breakfast and you will be back at the camp at about 18:00. Picnic lunch and refreshments (bottled water and soft drinks) will be served at any one of the many game viewing platforms dotted around the park. 

Refreshments are served throughout the trip.
