Today, Explore the 70-meter-high La Catarata La Fortuna on a half day walk. The walk descends to the base via 480 steps along a forested trail – offering beautiful scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities. End the walk at a “natural pool” where you can swim.

Highlights:  Beautiful scenery and a majestic waterfall. A local community project. Proximity to La Fortuna. And a swimming opportunity!

Day 3: Santa Elena

Arenal Volcano. El Silencio Lookout & Trails w CRST guide 

We begin the tour by heading to the El Silencio Private Reserve,  a nature walk explores one of the most famous lookouts to the Arenal Volcano, and the lava flows of 1968.  Join your expert guide along rainforest paths bound by rainforest plants to look for the troops of monkeys, sloths, motmots, toucans, and other creatures of the verdant forest.

Private Lake Crossing Arenal to Monteverde P.M

 Lake Crossing boat trip between La Fortuna and the Monteverde area. When visitors arrive at the lake they will board a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 40-minute ride to Rio Chiquito, a little town located on the opposite side of the lake. A microbus will transfer visitors to Monteverde from Rio Chiquito. The entire trip takes approximately 3.5 hours
