Meet the lodge representative at Maun Airport, for the scheduled departure at 14.00 hrs (2 pm) of the road transfer to Meno a Kwena camp.
Meno a Kwena Camp is located on the western boundary of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park (MPNP), situated on tribal land overlooking the exceptionally scenic Boteti River, now flowing since 2008.
Meno a Kwena is ideally located in full view of exciting wildlife activity at the river, in front of camp. Southern Africa’s largest zebra and wildebeest migration concentrates at the river during the dry season (May to November). The large dry season concentrations occur along the Boteti River, and then migrate to the saltpans, their wet season breeding grounds (December to April).
Activities include: Game Drives with bush picnic lunches, into Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Bushman cultural and walking safari. Boat cruise (water levels permitting).

Sable Alley is in the 200,000 hectare Khwai Private Reserve concession. Red Lechwe, Waterbuck and Reedbuck, along with many antelope species are full time residents and are often spotted, whilst sightings of Lion, Leopard, Spotted Hyena and Wild dog are excellent. Elephant abound and very quickly become an all-time favourite.
Sable Alley is situated on the banks of a peaceful lagoon this tented camp embraces the vision of The Khwai Private Wildlife Reserve, a footprint sensitive and community based joint venture partnership. The Khwai village (and its residents) is administered by this trust. Established to create a meaningful bridge between the tourism industry and local villagers, ensuring economic stability for its people, whilst adhering to first world environmentally sensitive practices. Nestled in 200,000 hectares, Sable Alley overlooks the lagoon and floodplains stretching towards the unfenced boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. Community members from the nearby Khwai Village make up the majority of staff.
Activities include Morning and Afternoon game-drives in the concession and along the Khwai River. Mokoros (dug-out canoes) are also available for excursions.
For the light aircraft transfer, you are limited to maximum 20 kg baggage (this includes your hand luggage), all baggage MUST be packed in soft bags (hard suitcases cannot be loaded onto the aircraft)!
Your last morning game-drive, transfer to the local airstrip for your light aircraft transfer to Kasane airport. You will be met on arrival and transferred by road to Ngoma Safari Lodge, located on the western side of Chobe National Park.
Chobe National Park, also known as the ‘Land of the Giants’, is home to the largest population of elephants on Earth. It provides excellent game viewing and birding opportunities, with more than 75 mammal species and 450 bird types. The 11,700 sq km park, established in 1968, is located in northern Botswana and its life-source is the Chobe River which affords unique water-based game viewing opportunities, such as the unforgettable sight of elephant herds swimming across the river, trunks raised.
On a game drive, in addition to vast herds of elephant, you may also encounter buffalo as well as zebra, impala, waterbuck, and predators,such as lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog.
Set on a plateau, overlooking the Chobe River and floodplain, Ngoma Safari Lodge’s eight luxurious boutique suites, offer guests the opportunity to observe wildlife, such as herds of migrating zebra, elephant, buffalo from their private suite Each suite features a private outdoor shower, a ‘refresh and relax’ pool, a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom, with a walk-in rainfall shower and a luxurious bath. Two of the suites have sofa beds and may be used as triples.
Expect a vast and diverse array of wildlife as knowledgeable guides take you on safaris through the Chobe National Park, lazy afternoons by the pool and stunning dinners under African stars.
