Day 1: M/Y Galaxy


Early breakfast and navigation to North Seymour Island. This island is one of the best places in the Galapagos to observe wildlife up close. A dry landing will be followed by a guided walk along rocky trails, where you can see large colonies of blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds with their distinctive red throat pouches, and land iguanas. The flat terrain also offers excellent opportunities to observe nesting sites and marine birds along the coast. Lunch onboard. In the afternoon, enjoy time for swimming or snorkeling near the island, with chances to see sea lions, rays, and colorful fish. Return onboard in the late afternoon to continue your journey.

Day 2: M/Y Galaxy

Early breakfast and navigation to Bartolome Island. A dry landing will be followed by a walk up the wooden steps to the summit, where you will enjoy one of the most iconic panoramic views of the Galapagos, overlooking Pinnacle Rock and surrounding islands. There will also be time for snorkeling along the coast, with opportunities to see penguins, sea lions, reef fish, and possibly sharks. Lunch onboard. In the afternoon, continue to Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island. You will explore the impressive lava formations created by relatively recent volcanic eruptions and walk along the shoreline. Swimming or snorkeling is possible, with chances to observe rays, turtles, and marine life before returning onboard.

Day 3: M/Y Galaxy

Early morning arrival at Genovesa Island, also known as Bird Island. A wet landing at Darwin Bay will introduce you to a stunning white sand beach surrounded by dramatic cliffs. You will walk along a trail where you can see red-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and frigatebirds. Swimming or snorkeling may be possible from the beach. Lunch onboard. In the afternoon, visit El Barranco, also known as Prince Philip’s Steps. After climbing a short rocky staircase, you will reach a plateau where storm petrels nest and short-eared owls are often spotted. The walk continues through palo santo forest and along cliff edges with spectacular ocean views.

Day 4: M/Y Galaxy

Early breakfast and visit to South Plazas Island. A dry landing will lead you to a loop trail through a landscape of cactus forest and colorful vegetation. This island is home to land iguanas, sea lions, swallow-tailed gulls, and a large population of marine iguanas. The cliffs offer excellent views of seabirds flying below. Lunch onboard. In the afternoon, continue to Santa Fe Island. A wet landing will take place on a white sand beach, where sea lions often rest. You will walk inland to observe the endemic Santa Fe land iguana and giant prickly pear cacti. Snorkeling is also available, with chances to see turtles, rays, and reef fish.

Day 5: M/Y Galaxy

Morning visit to the Interpretation Center on San Cristóbal Island. This visit provides valuable insight into the natural history of the Galapagos, its formation, biodiversity, and conservation efforts. Afterward, enjoy a short walk through nearby trails with coastal views. Lunch onboard or ashore. In the afternoon, navigate to Lobos Island. A wet landing will allow you to observe a large colony of sea lions in their natural habitat. You will also see blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds. Snorkeling is possible, offering close encounters with sea lions and marine life.

Day 6: End of Itinerary

After breakfast, visit the highlands of San Cristóbal Island. You will explore lush vegetation zones and freshwater lagoons, where giant tortoises are often found roaming freely. The walk provides a contrast to the coastal areas and offers insight into the island’s different ecosystems. After the visit, return for the end of your journey.
