Day 1: Windhoek

Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel located in Namibia's capital, Windhoek, about a 40km drive away. Once you have checked in, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy.

The inner city invites you to take a stroll down the main street and do some sightseeing, alternatively we can take you on a guided city tour.

Day 2: Solitaire

Your drive today takes you through the breathtaking landscape of the Namib Desert and leads you past the Duwisib Castle, built in the early 1900’s and presently serving as a museum. This is well worth a visit.

Moon Mountain Lodge is located near Sossusvlei, a mostly dried out vlei surrounded by the highest dunes in the world. Enjoy your peaceful surroundings as the sun sets and the starry skies light up above.

Day 3: Solitaire

In the early morning your second trip to Sossusvlei is planned allowing you to experience the sunrise in the vlei. In the afternoon you will visit the Sesriem Canyon. Explore the canyon on foot enjoying the stunning rock formations which will captivate your attention.

Alternatively we can organise a scenic flight over the Namib Desert at your request (not included in the original offer).

Day 4: Swakopmund

Today’s journey through the seemingly endless scenery of the Namib brings you to Swakopmund, Namibia’s most favoured holiday resort on the coast of the Atlantic. Approximately halfway through your journey you will stop over at the Rostock Ritz, a welcome oasis in this barren landscape.

Swakopmund, the adventure capital of Namibia, offers a magnitude of activities which we can arrange on your behalf, such as countrywide scenic flights, boat trips, dune boarding, quad biking, and many more.

Day 5: Swakopmund

Today you can enjoy a tour of Swakopmind's surroundings, which include Moonlandscape, Swakop Canyon and the famous Welwitschia Mirabilis, a plant over 2500 years old.

Day 6: Erongo Mountains

After breakfast you will depart Swakopmund and head inland. Your journey takes you through a special wilderness area, encircled by the Erongo Mountains, where the desert, mountain and bushveld ecosystems combine. Your new destination is located in a secluded valley surrounded by granite boulders, offering a dramatic setting.

Day 7: Etosha South

The Etosha National Park, Namibia's greatest wildlife sanctuary, is your next safari destination. The extensive road network in the park invites you to undertake game drives, during which you will have the opportunity to view elephant, giraffe, zebra and many other animal species.

Depending on availability you will be accommodated in one of the three rest camps within the national park or in one of the available lodgings close by.

Day 8: Etosha South

Enjoy a day of game viewing and the possibility of new sightings.

Day 9: Waterberg Plateau National Park

After a drive through the typical bush savannah of northern Namibia you reach the Waterberg Plateau Park. The impressive mountain range beckons you to enjoy one of the many hiking trails.

The Waterberg Wilderness lodge is your accommodation for the night.

Day 10: End of Itinerary

Today’s drive brings you to the small town of Okahandja, just north of Windhoek, where you will have the opportunity to visit a local wood carver’s craft market and purchase your last few souvenirs. You will reach Windhoek later today where you will be transferred on to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your onward departure.
