Located at the mid pacific coast between Carara and Uvita you will find the nature juwel of Manuel Antonio´s National Park, with beautiful beaches and the real Pura Vida feeling.
Today you will go to one of the most famous national parks in Costa Rica, the Manuel Antonio National Park, which is home to a wide range of flora and fauna. There are 3 different hiking trails in the park itself, varying from flat to very steep. The hiking trail, which is about 3 km long, takes you through the entire park, and your guide will explain everything you need to know about the flora and fauna along the way. One of the highlights is the sighting of the 3 species of monkeys (out of a total of 4 found in Costa Rica). Halfway there you have a 20-minute break on the beach, with the option of swimming in the clear, turquoise water. During the hike you can see sloths, birds and reptiles, and orchids, butterflies and tropical trees will also cross your path. The guides are equipped with telescopes to give you an in-depth look at nature.

This kayak tour offers you the opportunity to discover the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. Paddle across the Paquita River where you can spot Damas Island in the distance, drifting along the gentle currents under a lush canopy. Keep your eyes peeled for plenty of birds, snakes, anteaters and white-faced monkeys. Your local guide will explain everything you need to know about the flora and fauna that make the region so unique. The tour takes you through natural channels and offers numerous opportunities to see various herons, kingfishers, ospreys and other birds. Duration of the tour is approximately 2.5 hours, and an included lunch is available before or after the excursion, depending on the start time.
