Today you will be met upon arrival into Lusaka Airport. From here you will be transferred by road to Mukambi Safari Lodge, which will take about 3 hours. You get to pass through a number of local Zambian village on route, to get an understanding about local ways of life. You should arrive at the lodge in time for an afternoon activity of either a sunset boat cruise or afternoon game drive. If you would prefer you can simply relax at the lodge by taking take a dip in the pool or enjoy a local massage.
You will leave Mukambi and do a game-drive as you travel to the Busanga Plains. To maximise animal viewing time you will stop on route for a packed breakfast. On arrival at the lodge you will have time for lunch followed by tea and cakes before the afternoon game drive.
Morning activities on days 3 and 4 include the opportunity to do a game-drive or guided bush walk on the Busanga Plains. There is also the choice to simply relax at the camp by taking take a dip in the pool or reading a book on the viewing platform overlooking the beautiful Plains.
Today you will travel back to Mukambi Safari Lodge. On arrival you will have brunch and for the afternoon activity can decide between a sunset boat cruise or game drive as your afternoon activity.
Depending on the time of your flight out from Lusaka you should have time for a morning activity at Mukambi of a game-drive or guided bush walk in Kafue National Park. Alternatively spend time on the river on a fishing trip or visit the community school. At an agreed time you will depart for Lusaka by private transfer.
