Check out and go on your own to the bus station. Departure to Puerto Madryn during the day. Night bus, cama service with meals.

Day 5: Puerto Madryn

Arrival to Puerto Madryn in the morning. Go on your own to the hostel.  Accommodation and free day. Puerto Madryn is a small city in the blue atlantic coast were marine fauna choose to mate and breed. Depending on seasons, whales, penguins, sea lions and other animals can be seen. Excursions available in town.

Check out and go on your own to the bus station. Departure to Rio Gallegos for a connection to reach El Calafate, in Southern Patagonia. Nights bus, cama service with meals.

Day 8: El Calafate

Arrival to Rio Gallegos. Connecting bus to El Calafate. Cama service. After about 4 hours drive, arrival to El Calafate, walk to the hostel, accommodation and free day. El Calafate is the key city to explore the Glaciers National Park. Take a look to this impressive moving glaciers surrounded by beautiful mountains and green nothofagus forests. It is like taking a trip to the past, to be a witness of the last ice age.

Day 10: El Chalten

Check out and go to the bus station. Departure to El Chalten in the morning. Standard bus. After about 3-4 hours drive, arrival to El Chalten, accommodation and free day.  El Chalten can be considered the argentine capital of trekking. Although there are many trekking places in the country, here you can find dramatic landscapes, the sight of Mount Fitz Roy or Cerro Torre and pacific river valleys. You donĀ“t need to take a tour or to ride a bus to do your explorations. Just depart the hostel and take any of the self guided trails for an unforgettable experience

Check out, go on your own to the bus station. Departure to Bariloche in a Night standard bus.

Day 14: San Carlos de Bariloche

Arrival in Bariloche in the evening. Go on your own to the hostel. Check in.

Day 15: San Carlos de Bariloche

Free day to explore Bariloche, the head of the Lakes District in Northern Patagonia. You can discover the first National Park of Argentina, created in 1937 and inspired in the North American National parks

Check out and go on your own to the bus station. In the afternoon, departure to Mendoza. Night bus, cama service with meals

Day 18: Mendoza

Arrival to Mendoza, go on your onw to the hostel.  Accommodation. Free Day. This region is well known because it is at the foothills of the mighty Andes Range, where the summits (Aconcagua) can be up to 7.000 meters above sea level. Mendoza is also the biggest wine producer in the whole country and more than 1,200  wineries are active and producing. Some of them can be visited to learn more about the process and to taste a bit of the local Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon.

Day 21: Overnight Travel

In the afternoon go on your own to the bus station to take the bus  to Salta. Night bus, cama service with meals.

Day 22: Salta

Arrival to Salta. Find your own way to your accommodation. Free day. Salta and Jujuy are, culturally speaking, the richest provinces or Argentina. The region was inhabited by people influenced by the Incas, before the Spaniards arrived and colonized. So a very interesting mix of cultures can be seen, along with the high plateau deserts, the salt flats and amazing mountain landscapes.

Day 26: Puerto Iguazu

Arrival to Resistencia in the morning and change of bus to reach Puerto Iguazu in the evening. Check in and rest.
