Welcome to the Cape Town, affectionately called the Mother City. You will be met at the airport by your guide and taken to your hotel. In the evening we have a Welcome dinner together and go over the tour details and meet your fellow riders.

Day 2: Cape Town

In the morning after breakfast we get our bikes and head out to explore the Cape Peninsula. Enjoy the gentle curves as you follow the road along both the Atlantic and False Bay coastline. This road also takes us over Chapman’s Peak, one of the most beautiful coastal drives to experience with a towering mountain on one side and sheer cliff face down to the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Visit Cape Point nature reserve and then continue on to Red Hill Road with stunning views of False Bay. We stop for lunch and then continue back to Cape Town via the Constantia Wine Route.

Day 3: Cape Agulhas

In the morning we leave the city behind and take Clarens Drive, this pass is a splendid start to our journey. This road is a motorcyclists dream route, it is at the foothills of the Hottentot-Hollands mountains in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, is a motorcyclists dream route. 

We continue on to Hermanus and explore the beautiful coastline of Walker Bay before turning inland to Napier. Tonight, we reside in the tranquil coastal village of Cape Agulhas.  The origin of the name is not entirely sure, but Agulhas rose to prominence because it is here where the Indian and Atlantic Ocean meet.  It is southernmost tip of Africa, it’s here where a stone plaque that marks the place, where you can stand with one leg on the Indian and the other on the Atlantic side.

Day 4: Oudtshoorn

Today you travel Route 62 through gorgeous little towns and stunning scenery. The Tradouw Pass follows a winding road that runs along the cliff with beautiful scenic views of the cliffs that later opens up to a view over the valley below.

Stop for lunch in charming Barrydale before continuing on to Ladysmith and Calitzdorp before reaching Oudtshoorn. Surval is a working farm in the heart of the Klein Karoo, enjoy the tranquility.

Day 5: Oudtshoorn

A day of leisure to enjoy the many exciting activities in and around Oudtshoorn or head out and explore the nearby mountain passes and attractions.

Day 6: Wilderness

We drive through charming little towns and enjoy the drastic landscape and big open roads. The locals call this “big blue sky country” for a very good reason. Today includes some of the epic mountain passes of the Western Cape area as well as Meiringspoort, with its towering sandstone cliff walls and breathtaking rock formations. 

Tonight we stay in Wilderness, a  world of rivers, lagoons, lakes, beaches, forests and mountains.

Day 7: Breede River Valley

Our journey today includes some boulevard cruising along the N2 for most of today.  After a brief coffee stop in Mossel Bay, we continue along the N2 and pass by numerous smaller villages before arriving in the historic town of Swellendam.  With its beautifully restored Cape Dutch buildings, is the ideal lunch stop. 

Tonight we stay on a wine farm outside the charming town of Robertson, in the shadow of the Langeberg Mountains.

Day 8: Cape Town

We travel towards the Cape Winelands via the spectacular Franschhoek Pass and enjoy the dramatic views of towering mountains and deep gorges before descending into the fruitful valley of Franschhoek. After some coffee we continue on and travel over Du Toits Kloof from where we explore Bainskloof Pass and the backroads to Paarl.

We finish back in Cape Town in the late afternoon and return our bikes.
