Upon your arrival in Maun International Airport after clearing custom and collecting your baggage you will be met by a Wilderness Safaris representative and taken to your check-in for your flight to Chitabe airstrip. You will arrive at Chitabe airstrip and enjoy a leisurely drive to camp.
Chitabe Camp is situated in a private concession area on an island in the south-east of the Okavango Delta. Playing host to a breathtaking mosaic of wooded, wetland and grassland habitats, the area is famed for its incredible numbers and diversity of wildlife, in particular predators.
The camp’s eight spacious Meru-style tents are raised on wooden decks under large, shady trees. Each tent has twin beds, en-suite facilities and indoor and outdoor showers. The thatched dining area, bar and lounge are built on raised decks to provide superb views across the floodplain, and a pool allows you to cool off in the heat of the day.

Your last morning at Chitabe camp will conclude with breakfast and a game drive to the airstrip for your flight to Little Vumbura. You will be met and transferred to Little Vumbura camp.
Little Vumbura is situated on a beautiful island in a private concession in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta. Surrounded as it is by water and lying close to large rivers, both water- and land-based activities are as central to the overall experience, with both offerings spectacular and diverse wildlife sightings.
Little Vumbura is a beautiful six-roomed tented camp shaded by the canopy of an ancient forest. Each well-appointed tent has en-suite facilities and a deck with incredible vistas. A plunge pool and reading area overlook the floodplains while a star deck is reached by a bridge from the dining area.
In addition to helping to conserve the area, Little Vumbura is part of a community participation plan that brings the benefits of ecotourism to the communities that live around the Okavango Delta.

Your itinerary ends after your 3 nights at Little Vumbura. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your Wilderness Air flight back to Maun Airport when you will connect to your International flight homewards.
