Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met for your road transfer to Simbavati River Lodge, where you will stay in a luxury tented suite. Once you arrive at the lodge, check-in, and enjoy high tea before setting out on your first afternoon game drive to begin your search for the animals, including the Big Five.
Transfers from other airports, such as Nelspruit, Phalaborwa and Johannesburg, can also be arranged at an additional cost.

Shared afternoon game drive
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will wake up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then, you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day.
When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delicious hot breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap and absorb being out in the bush.
After high tea, the afternoon game drive will start around 3:30–4:00 PM. It will last for +-3 hours, with a stop somewhere for sundowners. You will return to the lodge in the dark, with a spotlight to look for nocturnal animals.

After your final morning game drive, enjoy a warm breakfast and depart the lodge for your road transfer to Hoedspruit Airport, where your safari comes to an end.
