7 DAY CAPE TOWN AND WINELANDS EXPLORER

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CAPE TOWN

On arrival at Cape Town airport, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your accommodation.  Arriving at Blackheath Lodge you are checked into your room, the rest of the day os spent at your own leisure.

DAY 2: CAPE PENINSULA TOUR

You depart from your hotel via the Atlantic seaboard in the direction of Hout Bay, passing towns such as Green Point, Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay, Bakoven, and Llandudno. The historic and picturesque town of Hout Bay discovered by a British sailor John Chapman in 1605 is our next stop. Take a cruise to view the seal colony at Duiker Island ( optional extra).

Enjoy the crisp, clear air and spectacular views from some of Cape Town`s most visited attractions as we drive via Chapmans Peak drive, Misty Cliff`s, and Scarborough towards Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope.  We visit one of only two breeding colonies in the Western Cape (there are a total of 27 breeding colonies in Southern Africa)

DAY 3: DAY AT LEISURE

This morning after a leisurely breakfast enjoy the day at your own leisure. Visit the V&A waterfront, This is one of Cape Town's biggest tourist attractions, the Waterfront evokes images of the early activities of the harbor.

• Whale watching tourn( Jun - Nov )
• Hiking Tour
• Robbin Island 

DAY 4: CITY AND TABLE MOUNTAIN HALF-DAY TOUR

Today's adventure includes all of the must-see attractions that the Mother City has to offer.  

 Points of interest include:

• Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting), Foreshore Area, City Centre, Castle of Cape of Good Hope, City Hall, Company Gardens, Long Street, Green Market Square, Cape Malay Quarter (Bo-Kaap), Noon Day Gun

DAY 5: CAPE TOWN TO FRANSCHHOEK VIA THE WINELANDS

This morning after an early breakfast you will check out from your hotel in Cape Town,  and make your way to Franschoek while enjoying a private Winelands tour.

Visit three of the biggest wine regions in South Africa, namely Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franschoek. These picturesque regions boast a multitude of wine estates, cellars, where wine tastings, cellar tours, and meals could be had.

Places we will pass through include the towns of Stellenbosch and Franschoek. If time allows we drive to the top of the Franschhoek pass for one of the most spectacular breathtaking views you will ever encounter. Arriving at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa you are checked into your room.

DAY 6:  FRANSCHHOEK 

Today is spent at your own leisure exploring the beautiful town of Franschhoek.

Choose from a wide variety of things to do in Franschhoek, ranging from outdoors and adventure sports, to leisurely wine tasting and shopping, or enjoy some of the exquisite onsite activities Le Franschhoek has on offer.

The surrounding countryside plays host to pristine wine estates, where you can sample internationally-acclaimed wines and an exceptional range of excellent fine dining restaurants. Franschhoek’s historic mountains are ideal for healthy outdoor activities such as horseback wine-tasting or hiking.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

This morning after breakfast, you check out from your hotel and make your way back to Cape Town Airport.
