3 Day Sun City Cabanas Pilanesberg Safari 2026

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Johannesburg at 6:00 AM. As you depart on a scenic 3-hour drive to the Pilanesberg National Park, take in the stunning landscapes that South Africa has to offer.

Arriving at the Pilanesberg Manyane gate around 9:00 AM, you will enjoy a light lunch, allowing you to recharge before continuing your journey. By 12:00 PM, you will head towards the iconic Sun City Resort, checking in at the luxurious Cabanas Hotel around 2:00 PM.

After settling in, the remainder of the day is yours to unwind and explore the resort at your leisure.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, fuelling you for an exciting day ahead. The morning is dedicated to the Valley of Waves, Sun City's thrilling water park that offers a variety of attractions, from wave pools to exhilarating water slides.

In the afternoon depart at 3:30pm, for an unforgettable sunset safari in the Pilanesberg National Park, you’ll traverse the park's stunning terrain, encountering diverse wildlife in their natural habitat as the sun sets over the horizon.

Return to the hotel around 7pm for a relaxing evening at your leisure.

On your final day, rise early for a breathtaking 3-hour sunrise safari, where the early morning light casts a golden glow over the landscape, providing a unique opportunity to spot wildlife at their most active.

Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out and prepare for your departure with hotel pickup scheduled for 2:30 PM to Johannesburg airport.
