Today your drive takes you to Sossusvlei. After your arrival, enjoy the spectacular landscape that surrounds your desert lodge. During your stay, you have the opportunity to climb the highest dune called Big Daddy together as a family and after the challenging climb be rewarded with amazing views. Walking in Deadvlei, a white clay pan with its ancient dead camelthorn trees, makes for brilliant photo opportunities.
Today we continue towards the coast of Namibia and the charming town of Swakopmund, famous for its German architecture and thrilling adventure activities. Typical Namibian hospitality, contrasted with the cool Atlantic breeze during a stroll along the beach, ensures an unforgettable stay. Time to enjoy fun activities as a family!
Today you travel to the southern Kunene region of Namibia, also known as Damaraland. Once inhabited by hunters and later by Khoikhoi pastoralists, you will embark on a historical and cultural journey during your stay and be impressed by ancient artifacts.
Have your camera and binoculars ready as you explore Etosha in your own vehicle! You will reach your next bush domicile in the wilderness in the early afternoon. After a short break for refreshments, you can join an optional safari with game rangers in the afternoon to get to know the southern Etosha National Park. At sunset, you will not only experience the fascinating beauty of the bush, but also the awakening of the nocturnal wild animals that live here.
Your next destination is the Waterberg Plateau National Park, which gives you a sense of the vastness of the country. The flat, landscape stretches for miles to the horizon and can be explored on a guided hike. Depending on offerings at your lodge, take part in the spectacular tracking of rhinos, which are native to this region. An experience that will be remembered for a long time.
Your last stop is located just outside Windhoek. During an optional city tour in the afternoon, you will explore some of the most important highlights of the former colonial city and delve into the city's modern history with sights such as the Tintenpalast, the Christuskirche, the old fortresses, the Imperial Secondary School and Heinitzburg and Sanderburg. Enjoy your last dinner in Namibia as a family and reflect on the wonderful memories you created together.
Drive to the airport and return of rental car. Check-in for your flight back home.
