Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by an Albatros Travel representative who will transfer you to your hotel. 

After check-in procedures and freshening up, enjoy some leisure time. 

You will be transferred to Cape Grace Hotel for your whisky tasting experience at Bascule Bar starting at 6:00 pm. 

We would recommend enjoying your dinner at Signal Restaurant at Cape Grace Hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town

This morning you will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and proceed to meet your tour guide at the hotel foyer for a tour of Cape Town City and Table Mountain. 

Situated below Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Cape Town offers a rich cultural and industrial heritage, grand splendour and an assurance of activity & excitement. Enjoy a drive through the city centre past the City Hall where Nelson Mandela gave his address after his release from prison, Castle of Good Hope which is the oldest existing colonial building in South Africa and the Houses of Parliament. 

Proceed to Table Mountain where you can enjoy panoramic views over the Mother City and the Atlantic Seaboard with Robben Island in the distance lying sleepily in Table Bay harbour.

You will then head to Bokaap, a fascinating and vibrant area that was somehow bypassed in the forced removal policies of the Apartheid. Also called the Malay Quarter, this area is characterized by its colourful cottages and steep cobbled streets as well as its exotic Malay culture. Here you will enjoy Cape Malay Cuisine (set menu; excludes drinks and gratuity).

Day 3: Cape Town

After breakfast, proceed to the hotel foyer where you will be met by your guide for a tour of Cape Point and Peninsula. 

Enjoy a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay and Hout Bay, a quaint seaside village with magnificent mountain views. Continue onto Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the world's most spectacular coastal drives towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. Watch the dramatic clash of the seas from the view point which can be accessed by a foot or the Flying Dutchman Funicular (additional cost to own account).

A lunch stop (to own account) will be discussed with your guide en-route to Simon's Town where you will visit Boulders Beach, the only place in the world where you get close to African Penguins.

Finish the day with a high tea experience at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel. This experience not only offers an exquisite dining experience, one can also enjoy a leisurely walk through one of South Africa's most beautiful gardens featuring the second-oldest camphor trees in South Africa.

Day 4: Franschhoek

This morning after breakfast and checkout, your vehicle will be delivered to the hotel (delivery fee is at an extra charge). 

Enjoy a leisurely drive to Franschhoek, a town rooted in the French heritage as as result of its history and development. Offering a vast range of wine farms and dining experiences, this area is without doubt one of South Africa's culinary capitals.

Day 5: Franschhoek

Today after enjoying breakfast at the hotel, explore Franschhoek wine farms at your own pace on the hop-on hop-off wine tram experience. 

Some of the stops included on your route are Babylonstoren and Boschendal wine farms which offer farm tours and exceptional dining experiences.

Day 6: Franschhoek

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and the remainder of the day at leisure. 

You can opt to relax by the pool at the hotel or you can explore the Paarl region.

A visit to the Spice Route is well worthwhile. One can enjoy wide range of activities including Gin, chocolate, wine, craft beer and ice cream tastings. Neighboring the Spice Route is Fairview Wine Farm  which offers goat cheese tasting paired with wine. 

Optional: End the trip with a Chef's Table dining experience at Maison Estate. 

Day 7: End of Itinerary

After breakfast and checkout, head to Cape Town International Airport to drop off the vehicle and proceed on your onward travels.
