You will be met in the arrivals area after clearing the immigration formalities for Zambia. You then have a 45 min drive through the town of Livingstone and then onwards to the lodge which is well out of town overlooking the downstream side of the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River Gorges.
Part of the activities here include doing a bush walk so you may enjoy doing that along some of the trails there or even go down into the Gorge itself if you're energy levels are high enough. Enjoy the gorgeous sunset from the deck to end your day here.

You have a full day here which will start with a nice breakfast then a shuttle bus will get you back into the town so you can enjoy the Victoria Falls themselves - it is also possible to go over to the Zimbabwean side as well to get a different view all along the Victoria Falls.
We suggest enjoying some of the other activities on offer in this resort town which has a lot on offer from cultural to adrenalin charged or just wander about and take in some of the local restaurants and cafes. In the mid afternoon you will be booked onto a sunset cruise to enjoy the last sunset in this iconic destination of Africa.
You will then be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and a good nights sleep before you head further into the Wilds of Africa in the morning.

This morning you will be transferred back to the airport in Livingstone where you will meet the pilot and then off you go by light aircraft to fly up to the North of the vast Kafue National Park, it is a great flight and you will get a feeling of how beautiful this park is and the complexity of its ecosystems as you fly along. You will be met of arrival at the nearby airstrip and then a short boat trip along the Kafue River plus a short game drive into camp so make sure you have everything ready to be on safari.

You have 3 full days here to enjoy this excellent concession area within the Kafue National Park. Activities here will include bush walks, day and night game drives plus cruises along the Kafue River. Lots to do and see here plus even when you are not out on safari there is a wonderful wetland and lagoon area in front of the camp which is often just as busy with wildlife and birds as anywhere else you go so taking time off to sit and enjoy this is never a bad idea.

A wonderful game drive with a packed lunch all the way up to the vast Busanga Plains today is the plan. Depending on what time you get here and your energy levels it might be possible to do a short drive around the area of the camp to get yourself familiar with your new surrounds.

Today you will head out and explore this vast grassland and wetland that can have a lot going on with big herds of Lechwe, Buffalo, Sable, Wildebeest Reedbuck to name a few and lots of waterbirds as well to enjoy. Also a great place to look for the big predators that hunt over these grasslands like Cheetah and Lion. This will be a full day out which is the best way to get the most from this extraordinary ecosystem.

Today you will have a charter flight that will leave from the nearby airstrip to get you into Lusaka and will be timed to suit your onward departing flights. If it is needed to have an extra night in Lusaka to suit the schedule we can arrange that as well for you or you may be planning to combine this safari with somewhere else in Zambia like the South Luangwa..
