Day 1: Bushmanland

Your Bushtrails guide will meet you at the Windhoek International Airport to begin your adventure. We’ll be traveling extensively today into the heart of Bushman Land. Arrive at our place of stay and take some time to relax and freshen up before dinner.

Day 2: Bushmanland

Spend the day with the Bushman People. Visit their village to experience their day to day life and meet the members of the tribe. We then go hunting with the men and spend 3 to 4 hours in the bush collecting bush food, learning about their skills, natural medicine and culture. We return to the village before sunset where we’ll spend some time around the fire to experience their ancient songs and dancing. We return to the lodge for a well-deserved dinner.

Day 3: Onguma Game Reserve

An early breakfast gets us on our way. We continue traveling in a south westerly direction, our next stop is Etosha National Park!! Arrive at Etosha in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Continue to the lodge on the border of the park and arrive in time to enjoy a sundowner on the deck overlooking the waterhole.

Day 4: Etosha East

Full day game drive between the many waterholes of Etosha National Park!! Possible sightings include elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and various other plains game species. We exit the park at it’s northern gate and make our way to the lodge on the border of the park.

Day 5: Epupa Falls

Travel Northwest into Kaokoland, the ancestral homeland of the Ovahimba people. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch followed by a visit to a Himba village to explore this ancient culture, it’s like taking a trip in a time machine!! Spend the next two days visiting  to various Himba Villages and Epupa Falls, you'll be accompanied by Samuel, a local Himba guide and translator making your experience a little more immersive.

Day 7: Etosha West

Travel south through Kaokoland and Damaraland through some of the most breath-taking scenery in Namibia. Overnight at Hobatere Lodge where you can go on an afternoon game drive or night drive on the concession, the concession borders Etosha National Park so you are likely to see all the variety of animals here as in Etosha. (activities are optional)

Day 8: Windhoek

Make your way south to Namibia’s Capital City, Windhoek, where we enjoy lunch at the World-Famous Joe’s Beer House. Spend the afternoon on a short city tour of Windhoek followed by a visit to the Craft Centre. Enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in town, take your pick!

Day 9: End of Itinerary

Depending on your flights departure time your guide will propose some more activities for today, he will then see to it that you make it to the airport well in time for your flight back home.
