You will be met by your Explorations guide and begin your journey by driving through the Khomas Hochland mountains and down into the iconic Sossusvlei region. Guests need to arrive in Windhoek no later than 07:00 on the day of departure (we recommend an overnight in Windhoek before the start of the safari). Explore the iconic red dunes and be awed by the desert-adapted wildlife surviving in one of the world’s oldest and most arid deserts.

Scenic drive from Windhoek to the Sossusvlei region
Depart camp early and drive through the snaking roads of the Kuiseb Canyon and out onto the expansive gravel plains, eventually arriving in Walvis Bay. From here you will continue north onto the quaint town of Swakopmund. Discover the town of Swakopmund and check-in at the iconic hotel that forms part of city’s architectural culture.

Explore the cold Atlantic Coast with a Dolphin and Seal catamaran cruise form Walvis Bay harbour (weather permitting).
Continue the journey by road to Damarland, west of Namibia's highest mountain, Brandberg. This area boasts the largest concentration of black rhino anywhere on the planet outside a national park, as well as other desert adapted animals, including elephants.

Travel to Damaraland
Drive to the Ongava Game Reserve, on the boundary of Etosha National Park. Etosha remains the highest density wildlife area in Namibia and is well known. You will have the opportunity to explore both Ongava Game Reserve and Etosha to look for animals, including the Big 4.

Afternoon safari activities.
After breakfast, you head back to where it all started. You will arrive back in Windhoek at around 13:00.

Return to Windhoek.
