Upon arrival at Maun Airport you will be met by a representative from Mack Air. From here, you will transfer by light aircraft to the Xai Xai airstrip in the Western Kalahari. The flight takes approximately 1 hour.
Upon arrival the airstrip, you will be met by your Golden Africa guide who will transfer you to camp for the next three nights.
During your three nights in Xai Xai, you will have the unique and special experience of meeting the Ju!hoasi Khoi San of the Western Kalahari, people with a strong rooted culture and traditions dating back centuries, due to very minimal contact with Western Civilization.

This morning you will say a fond farewell to the Ju!hoasi Khoi San and the Western Kalahari as you head north to the wetlands of the Okavango Delta.
You will travel by light-aircraft to Mapula Lodge, located in the Northern fringes of the Delta.
Upon arrival at the airstrip you will be met by a representative of the lodge who will transfer you to base. After brunch and settling into your new home for the next three nights, you will set off in the afternoon for your first game-viewing activity.

This morning , after breakfast you will gradually make your way to the airstrip for a light-aircraft to Khwai. Here you will find your familiar Golden Africa mobile camp waiting for you in a private campsite.
You have 3 nights in Khwai, a community run concession which has the benefits of being able to do night-drives and off road.

Today you say good bye to Golden Africa, and to Botswana as you head further north across the border in to Zambia to see the magnificent Victoria Falls.
You will take a light aircraft to Kasane (approx. 1 hour). Upon arrival in Kasane you will need to go through immigration and enter into Zambia. You will then transfer by vehicle to Thorntree River Lodge where you will be staying for 3 nights.
