On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, you will make your way to the Intercontinental, a luxury hotel located just a few steps away from the arrivals hall.
After you have checked into your beautifully decorated room, your first evening is free to relax & refresh after your long flight. Enjoy your nights sleep before you begin your SAFARI ADVENTURE!
Dinner can be enjoyed at the in-house restaurant and the hotel boasts a beautiful pool and wellness centre to enjoy at your leisure.
This morning after breakfast make your way back to the departures terminal to check in for your flight to Maun, Botswana (check in 3 hours prior to departure). Online check in can be arranged 24 hours prior.
On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be assisted to connect with your charter flight to Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp in the heart of the world-renowned Okavango Delta (30mins by air).
Enjoy a 3 night stay with all meals, house drinks and safari activities included. The Delta is one of Africa's most exclusive safari destinations, and your safari activities here will be by boat, on land and even by Mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe). During your stay is a complimentary 30min helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta from Xaranna Camp - an experience you will remember for a lifetime. You will stop for Champagne en route before returning to camp.
Enjoy a private candlelit dinner out on the reserve to celebrate the start of your married life together.
This morning you will be taken the short distance to the airstrip (just a few minutes drive) to board your charter flight to Kasane Airport (1 hour by air).
At Kasane you will be met and taken by road transfer (1 - 1.5 hours) across the border into Zimbabwe, and to Victoria Falls.
Enjoy a 3-night stay at Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel, which is part of the More Family Collection located in the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve and with the "Falls" themselves just 15 minutes away.
Your first evening is free to relax and refresh. Dining can be enjoyed at the in-house restaurant, or at the choice of restaurants in Victoria Falls town. The reception staff will assist with reservations on arrival.
The following morning you are going on a horseback safari! Suitable for all levels of rider, you will ride through the Victoria Falls National Park on horseback, witnessing the incredible wildlife surrounding you. The experience is 2;5-3 hours with breaks where needed.
Relax back at the hotel before, in the evening, going to the award-winning Boma Restaurant; with African dinner feast and drumming and dancing show.
The next morning you will enjoy a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls - the 'flight of angels'. View the Falls from an awe-inspiring perspective. A sight you will remember for a lifetime.
In the late afternoon, you will be taken to the banks of the Zambezi River to enjoy a luxury sunset cruise on the Zambezi, where you will enjoy canapes and cocktails as the sun sets over Africa, surrounded by hippos and crocodiles.
After breakfast in Victoria Falls you will be taken to Livingstone Airport (20min road transfer with border stop), where you will board your direct flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, in the Greater Kruger.
On arrival, you will be met and taken by private road transfer into the world-renowned Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. This is roughly a 2.5-3 hour drive through beautiful landscape.
The Sabi Sands is part of the Greater Kruger area and these private reserves are the finest Big 5 safari game viewing destinations in Southern Africa and are famous for their dense populations of Big Cats, making every game drive an exhilarating experience you will remember forever.
Enjoy a 4 night stay at Lion Sands River Lodge, a beautiful 5 star luxury safari camp in the heart of the reserve. Your suite is a River Suite with heated private plunge pool.
All meals, drinks and safari activities are included during your stay. Your safari schedule will be explained on arrival, but you will enjoy twice-daily Big 5 game drives & nature walks out on the reserve, at sunrise and at sunset, when the animals are at their most active. Coffee and snacks are served before sunrise game drive and a breakfast feast will be waiting when you return. Lunch is enjoyed back at the lodge and before sunset game drive high tea is served. When you return from evening game drive an African dinner feast awaits you in a variety of settings, by firelight and under the stars. In the middle of the day relax, watch the wildlife around the lodge or enjoy a dip in the pool or a pampering spa treatment.
On your third night on safari you will have the unbeatable experience of sleeping out at The Chalkley Treehouse; this is one of the most luxurious tree-house experiences in Africa. Dine under the stars in complete privacy, with only Africa's iconic wildlife for company. Sleep al fresco and in the morning wake to the call of the wild.
Your safari guide will give you full briefing and take you to and from the sleep out platform, with safari game drives either side. An experience you will remember for a lifetime.
Today is departure day. After your final morning game drive and breakfast in the Sabi Sands you will be taken by road transfer to Skukuza Airport (20mins drive), where you will board your flight to Johannesburg International Airport.
At Johannesburg International Airport you will connect with your homeward travel and wish you both a safe journey back home.
