Half Day Tour - Historical Tour Salvador
As you stroll through the streets of Salvador's historic center, you'll want to go back to Brazil's history. So we have prepared for you the visit of the first fort built at the entrance to the Bay of All Saints to protect the city from attack. The tour starts with the visit of the lighthouse of Barra, passes by the theater Castro Alves. Fort St. Peter and Castro Alves Square are on the way to the historic center of Pelourinho. You can not miss the historic churches, cafes, restaurants, shops and pastel colored buildings.

After breakfast depart by private transfer to Igatu.
The village of Igatu is famous for its unique architecture, all made from rock blocks that abound in the region made famous by diamond mining.

From Igatu we head to Ibicoara to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Chapada Diamantina, the Buracão Waterfall. In Ibicoara, we cross the dirt road through Campo Redondo to the beginning of the trail.
The walk goes flat along the banks of the Rio Espalhado, where we are already surprised by the beauty of the Cachoeira das Orquídeas
which is at the beginning of the descent that leads to the Buracão canyon, one of the most beautiful places on the tour, where we will swim floating with the vests or through the rocks to the waterfall.
After swimming and taking photos, we return along the trail to enjoy the view from the top of the waterfall. Stop for a snack and return along same trail.

Walk: (6km total; 3km each way). Most of the trail is flat. There are two short descents aided by ladders and ropes. The last stretch, to reach the waterfall, is done by swimming through the canyon, or by following the rocks on the sides. The use of a life jacket is mandatory.



In the morning we drive to Poço Encantado, one of the most impressive attractions in the region. An immense natural cave of turquoise water inside a limestone cave. A ray of sunlight travels through the well to the bottom through a shaft of light, 60 meters deep.
Afterwards, we head to Poço Azul, where we will float inside the cave and then have a well-deserved lunch of typical foods.
Return to Lençóis in the late afternoon.

Walk: half an hour down the stairs at Poço Encantado and 10 minutes at Poço Azul.



In the morning we drive from Lençóis in the direction of Iraquara to visit the Gruta da Pratinha. The perfect place for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Pratinha River and where we visit the Gruta Azul, enjoying the natural beauty of the place at that time.
The attraction also offers snorkeling inside the cave and zip-lining (optional).
In the afternoon, delicious lunch of typical foods before continuing to the Gruta da Lapa Doce. The Iraquara region is famous for its limestone subsoil, which has allowed the formation of countless caves and caverns with very rare rock formations. With the help of a local guide, we will cross the Gruta da Lapa Doce and discover stalactites, stalagmites, speleothems, columns and their formation processes dating back millions of years.
We end the day with an impressive view from the top of Pai Inácio Hill and return to Lençóis in the late afternoon.

Walk: 6 km of river stretches, walking over rocks, and short uphill and downhill stretches and crossing the Grotto (1 km x 15m high).



Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the port to take the fast boat to Morro de São Paulo.
