Classic Safari

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by your private driver who will transfer you to Cape Heritage Hotel where you will get to settle in and relax before heading out for dinner at one of the renown restaurants in the city. 

After a delicious breakfast you will be met by your private guide who will accompany you on a private guided tour to the iconic sites such as: Table Mountain Cable Way (Weather Permitting), Castle of Good Hope, Bo-Kaap, Noon Day Gun, Company Gardens, District 6 Museum, V&A Waterfront, Diamond Works Institute or The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa.

A typical day would include a combination of the above weather permitting, timing and availability etc

Enjoy a full-day private guided tour along the scenic Cape Peninsula visiting top attractions such as Kalk Bay, the adorable penguins at Boulders Beach, Cape Point Nature Reserve (the South-Western most tip of Africa) and the breath-taking Chapman’s Peak.

Your winelands experiences include a mix of hidden gems, mainstream producers, cellar tours, food and wine pairing and more. Areas visited include Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, Durbanville and Constantia. A typical experience includes three wineries and enough time to enjoy a leisurely lunch. After breakfast you will be met by your private guide who will transfer you to Cape Town International Airport where you will board a flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival you will be met by your private driver from Kapama Buffalo Camp where you will be enjoying an adventure in one of their top luxury tents.

Once you are settled in and enjoyed an afternoon tea you will meet a professional guide and spotter for an afternoon game drive. Using an open four-wheel drive vehicle, the game drive allows you to discover many interpretations of the bush and all its inhabitants, related to them by our suitable trained and qualified guides. This is an uncontrived bush experience, covering a genuinely wild, unfenced wilderness area. You will head back to the lodge in time to enjoy a delicious safari style dinner.

1. Sunrise morning game drive with a selection of hot drinks and snacks en-route accompanied by a professional guide and spotter.
2. After the game drive you will be taken back to the lodge where a scrumptious breakfast will be awaiting you.
3. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the Spa or enjoying the beauty and peace from the comfort of your luxury tent.
4. After an afternoon meal it is time for an afternoon safari. Depending on sightings you may stop for a famed sundowner in the African Bush. Afterwards it is back to the lodge to freshen up for a scrumptious dinner at the lodge.

Kapama Buffalo Camp offers several optional activities like Elephants Interaction, Hot Air Balloon and bush walks for you to choose from that can be arranged at the lodge. These will be done in conjunction with your daily safari drives or possibly opting to swap out a drive with an additional activity or sleep in

After breakfast you will be met by a driver from Bushtracks who will transfer you from Chobe Safari lodge to Batonka Guest Lodge.

Upon arrival at Batonka Guest lodge you will be met by the friendly staff who will assist you in settling in and giving you an opportunity to explore your new surroundings before enjoying a delicious safari dinner.

1. Embark on a spectacular morning tour of the Falls at your leisure. Proudly referred to as Mosi-oa-Tunya or 'The Smoke that Thunders' by the locals; Victoria Falls has a combined width of 1,7 kilometres (approx. 1 mile) and height of 100 metres (330 feet), making it one of the world’s largest waterfalls and one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Remember your raincoats! – it does get quite wet.
2. Enjoy a delicious local lunch and explore the local town before heading back to the lodge to get ready for an exciting tour to Livingstone Island.
3. You will be picked up around 14:45 by your private driver and taken on an exciting afternoon high tea experience to the Livingstone Island. Your Livingstone Island Afternoon High Tea includes:

•  Return transfer by boat from the Royal Livingstone Sun deck
• A guided walking tour of the Island
• A guided swim in Devil’s Pool or the rock pools, depending on the season
• Towels
• Raincoats and umbrellas when there are a lot of spray from the Falls
• Afternoon High Tea - light snacks, tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine

              What to bring:

• Passport with correct Visa
• Comfortable/non-slip shoes or sandals
• Camera - clients to handle this at their own risk, even if guides assist
• Hat/Cap, sunglasses
• Sunscreen and mosquito repellent
• A swimsuit when the pools are open
• Jacket/sweater

4.After your High Tea experience, you will be taken back to the lodge in time to freshen up and enjoy a delicious dinner.

After breakfast depending on your international flight you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg International Airport where you will get to savour your last Southern African moments before boarding your flight back home.
