Arrive into Victoria Falls. Clear customs and immigration formalities.

Victoria Falls is one of the ‘Seven Natural Wonders of the World’ and offers some of the most breath-taking views you’ll ever encounter on the African continent. The Falls are located on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia attracting tourists worldwide to both countries.


The massive sheet of falling water and the spray it produces is captivating to say the least. Above the Falls the Zambezi River is renowned for its beauty, with banks and islands of luscious vegetation and abundant wildlife. Add to these sights the sounds of the river, the grunting of hippo, the hauntingly beautiful cry of the fish eagle and the constant ever present roar of the Falls, and you have a small piece of paradise.

Our ever-popular sunset cruise offers a unique way to explore the channels of the river and to get an up-close view of the pristine wilderness and African game along its banks. Enjoy an array of canapés, a full bar and a charming crew who can impart a bit of interesting Victoria Falls history with you on board the Ra-Ikane.

Day 5: Khwai Conservancy

Travel overland from Zimbabwe to Botswana to board your internal flight from Kasane to Machaba Camp.

On arrival your jeep will collect you and transfer you to the lodge.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Your stay includes accommodation, all meals, local drinks and in-house activities. In-house activities include game drives, night drives, guided nature walks and mokoro safaris (subject to water levels).

Day 6: Khwai Conservancy

Activities include game drives, guided walks with armed guides and mokoro safaris. Visits to the local community can be arranged on request.

Day 7: Okavango Delta

Transfer by camp vehicle to the airstrip to meet an onward flight with Mack Air.

On arrival transfer by camp vehicle to your safari camp.

Your stay includes accommodation, all meals, local drinks and in-house activities. In-house activities include game drives, night drives, mokoro safaris, motorized boat cruises and guided nature walks

Day 8: Okavango Delta

Your stay includes accommodation, all meals, local drinks and in-house activities. In-house activities include game drives, night drives, mokoro safaris, motorized boat cruises and guided nature walks

In addition to day and night game drives, the camp offers water-based activities such as mokoro excursions and motor boat trips.

Day 9: Okavango Delta

Day 10: Cape Town

Fly to Maun to connect to your onward flight to Cape Town.

On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Bay Hotel for 3 nights in 2 Club Classic Rooms on B&B basis.

  

Day 11: Cape Town

Private full day tour of the Cape Winelands including three wine tastings
Head off to the heart of South Africa’s wine industry. Explore Stellenbosch and walk down the canal-lined avenues, in the shade of giant oak trees and beautifully preserved historic buildings. Travel over the Helshoogte Pass to the town of Franschhoek, historically dating back to the 17th Century when the French Huguenots arrived. Billed as the gourmet capital of South Africa, this charming town, in a most picturesque valley, retains a French Huguenot style. Enjoy a wine tasting before taking time to enjoy the fabled culinary skills of the Franschhoek chefs at one of the many award-winning restaurants (lunch not included in cost). Onward to Paarl, one of the Cape’s first farming districts. The town is set at the foot of the cluster of remarkable granite domes from which it takes its name. Return to the bustle of city life after an enthralling day in the countryside at around 17:30.

Day 12: Cape Town

Private full day tour of the Cape Peninsula
Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. Continue via Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breath-taking coastal drives, to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point which is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Go on to historic Simon’s Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat and there is also a new information centre. A lunch stop is made nearby (lunch to own account). End the day with a visit to the well-known Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. The garden includes five of South Africa’s six different biomes and is world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape Flora it displays as well as for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain.

Day 13: Plettenberg Bay

Your will be transferred to Cape Town airport on time for your internal flight to George. On arrival collect your car and drive to Hog Hollow.

Please Note:
This drive is around 120km and should take around 1.5 hours.

 

Stay 3 nights in two  Standard Suites on B&B basis.

Day 14: Plettenberg Bay

‘Plett’, the holiday town of South Africa’s rich and famous, is situated on the warm Indian Ocean offering sandy beaches, challenging golf courses and a vibrant nightlife. Enjoy dolphin spotting boat cruises, visit the Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary where visitors can expect to see many species of monkeys as well as a large variety of forest dwelling birds, and explore the Tsitsikamma National Park a rugged coastal nature reserve offering beautiful coastal scenery and a variety of walks and hikes. Close by are all the attractions of the ‘Garden Route’.
