You can get a city pass from reception which will allow you to jump on and off trams which is the best way to get around the city. Don't forget the culinary delights that await, I would be happy to make any reservations for you.
This morning you will collect your rental car from a downtown depot and begin your drive to Yosemite.
Once at the park extrance you will pay $30 for a pass which will last the duration of your stay and then drive a further 45 minutes to your Lodge. Rush Creek Lodge has all the activities that you could wish for, simply visit the desk in reception to plan your stay with horseback riding, walking trails and river floats.
There are activities for all ages and you will be roasting S'mores over a campfire in the evening.
The Guided Recreation Program at Rush Creek Lodge has evolved from the expertise of the much-loved Recreation Program at their sister property, the Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite. Our Yosemite tours and adventures are led by warm, personable guides who are excited to share their passion for and knowledge of Yosemite. We offer partial and full-day excursions for all experience and fitness levels, with trips varying seasonally to take advantage of current conditions. Many trips offer departures from both locations.

Today you will head back to the coast to the beautiful town of Carmel, which once boasted Clint Eastwood as its' Mayor.
The ranch is located at the on the edge of town offering stunning views of the area which you can enjoy with the glass of wine from your terrace or from the main lodge.

You have a day to enjoy the ranch which has activities for everyone. There is a full spa at the ranch for relaxation, outdoor pool and an educational kids club which offers everything from an introduction to bee-keeping to ranch-hand camp.
Today will be a full day as you drive the most iconic road in America; Pacific Coast Highway. You will be going over Bixby Bridge, through Big Sur and through the Santa Ynez Valley which is renowned for its' vineyards.
There are many places for you to stop off, from Elephant Seal beach to Hearst Castle on the outskirts of San Simeon. It should be approached as a day out rather than a drive with the beautiful town of Santa Barbara as your final destination.

Being just metres from the beach you are going to have an amazing time in Santa Barbara. You can relax by the pool, in the spa or at the beach. If you're feeling adventurous then you can try your hand at surfing.
Santa Barabara is foodie heaven and you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to amazing restaurants. The restaurants very often offer al fresco dining which is great for people watching and whiling away the hours with a leisurely lunch or dinner.
The city also offers beautiful Spanish architecture which makes a walk around town a real pleasure.
Today you will make the short drive to Santa Monica. You will pass through the celebrity enclave of Malibu and hug the coastline until you hit the pier. You will be staying at the stunning Casa Del Mar.
