Welcome to Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills and a million smiles!
On arrival at Kigali Airport, you are met by your personal guide and accompanied to the 4 x 4 vehicle that will be used for the duration of your stay in Rwanda. Transfer through the city of Kigali to the luxurious Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge in the town of Kinigi. The travel time is aproximately 2,5hrs, and very scenic.
On arrival at the lodge, check in and lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.
Dinner is served at the lodge.
Today will be the day of discovering the magical Volcanoes National Park, and it's most famous inhabitants - the Mountain Gorillas.
After the trek, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, visit the local Musanze market with your guide.

Today you will have the opportunity to either participate in another gorilla trek (please not that an additional permit will have to be purchased), or you can visit some of the other attractions in the area.
The activities on offer are the Golden Monkey trek, the Diane Fossey trek, the Bisoke Volcanoe hike or a visit to the Iby'iwachyu Cultural Village (ex poachers village).
In the afternoon, transfer through the green hills and small villages to return to Kigali.
Check in at the Kigali Serena hotel, and dinner in the hotel dining room.
After breakfast, guests enjoy a tour of Kigali and a visit to the Genocide museum with their guide. The Genocide museum is a must see when visiting this inspiring country.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Kigali, and in the afternoon, transfer to the Kigali Airport for your flight back home.
