Depart from Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria and travel across the goldfields of the Witwaterstrand. Dinner is served en- route to Kingswood .

- Breakfast is available from 07:00 - 10:00, lunch is at 13:00 and a formal dinner is at 19h30 and are all served in the dining cars in one sitting. Tea is served in the lounge and observation cars at 16h30 pm.
Dress code is formal for dinner and smart casual during the day .

After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Kimberley's Diamond Mine Museum and the Big Hole.After lunch the train travels through the Karoo, a vast semi-desert region that was once an enormous inland sea.
Warm clothing,comfortable shoes, hats and sun protection are advised. Rain capes are available.

After breakfast , guests have a chance to disembark and troll through the historic village of Matjiesfontein . After lunch the train climbs down the escarpment through the Hex River Valley before arriving at Cape Town Station.
