4 nights - Chada Katavi
From Arusha Airport, you will be met and escorted to board the morning shared charter flight to Katavi Airstrip. You then have a road transfer to Chada Katavi combined with game drives (if time allows).
On arrival at the lodge, you will be welcomed and introduced to the staff followed by lunch. Enjoy afternoon/early evening game drives (time permitting).
Exploring Katavi National Park
After breakfast, leave for your morning game drive to explore the Katavi National Park then return to the lodge for brunch or an early lunch. When enjoying a full day game drive in the National Park , you will be spoiled with a packed lunch.
Your afternoons are at leisure where you can perhaps enjoy a cool dip in the swimming pool, and have lots of time to relax and refresh yourselves before enjoying your evening sun-downers and dinner at the lodge.
A night game drive is available to book as an optional extra.
3 nights - Greystoke Mahale
After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Katavi Airstrip combined with a game drive (if time allows). On arrival, you board a shared charter flight to Mahale Airstrip and then have a transfer to Greystoke Mahale. You will be welcomed by staff and introduced followed by lunch.
In the afternoon or early evening, enjoy chimpanzee trekking or forest walks (if time allows). In the evening, you have sundowners followed by dinner.
Enjoy Chimpanzee trekking
After breakfast, leave for a morning’s chimpanzee trekking. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch.
Return to Arusha Airport
After breakfast, you have a transfer back to Mahale Airstrip to arrive in time to board your shared charter flight to Arusha Airport with a packed lunch en route.
