Day 1: Dar es Salaam

Arrival at International airport of Dar es Salaam, representative of  Remote Safari Company will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to The Slipway Hotel,  for overnight.

The hotel is integrated into the Slipway complex, which provides a wide range of amenities including various dining options and everything a traveler needs. Within its vicinity are a selection of popular shopping, dining and nightlife destinations.

Day 2: Iringa

Morning departure (07h30) for Iringa. This will be a 6 to 7 hour trip depending on traffic. Overnight at Neema Crafts Guesthouse where you will visit the crafts centre run by disable people.

Neema Crafts, in partnership with the Mother's Union of the Diocese of Ruaha, has built the first disabled-run guest house in Africa. It provides ten en-suite rooms, ranging from large family rooms, with beautiful views over the surrounding hills, to smaller double and twin rooms. The guest house has WiFi internet and there are computers available in the adjacent Neema Cafe for those without laptops.

The guest house provides training and employment for deaf and disabled trainees. Profits from the guest house will be put towards the running costs of the physiotherapy centre for disabled children, and will also help to make Neema's work with people with disabilities even more sustainable.

Days 3 - 4: Ruaha National Park

Early breakfast and 07.30 departure for a two - three hour drive up to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival check-in at Tandala Tented Camp and set off for the park. We shall offer game drives during the three days that we visit the park with packed lunches.

Days 5 - 6: Mikumi National Park

After breakfast on day 5, drive of 6 hrs back to Mikumi National Park. Packed lunch on-route and a late afternoon game-drive.

On day 6 a morning drive, lunch at the camp and an afternoon drive with sundowner at the hippo pool.


 

Activities and Services

Days 7 - 9: Nyerere National Park

Long drive via the Uluguru Mountains on day 7 to Selous Game Reserve,  where we enter from the west Matambwe gate and cross the Reserve to the East. There will be boat safaris and walks and game drives organized for the three days that you are at Selous Wilderness.

Game drives, boat safaris and walking safari outside the Reserve on day 8 & 9 in consultation with the camp manager. The manager will consult the clients the night before over dinner for their safari interests for the next day.
 

Day 10: End of Itinerary

A morning game-drive. Then  back ( in 6 hours ) to Dar es Salaam. Packed lunch on-route. Transfer to Dar es Salaam Airport for the international flight home. End of programme.
