Enjoy an adventurous drive down to the southern peninsular of Africa. Board the funicular or hold on to your hat and embrace a brisk walk up to the lighthouse cliff, where you will be greeted by an extreme scene, where “two oceans” collide. Feel the clash of cold and warm air sweep pure fragrances of sea salt through your hair (funicular currently closed - opening date to be confirmed). Explore this wild coast and its many wildlife inhabitants. A genuinely spectacular day.
Breath-taking scenery ignites the senses where the chilly waters of the Atlantic in the west merge with the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Stop at Boulders Beach, to see the penguins. Travel through Simon’s Town and Fish Hoek, continuing along Boyes Drive, which offers glorious views of the False Bay coastline and the Hottentots Holland Mountains.
