Nearby, Marakele National Park has the world's largest colony of the vulnerable Cape Vultures. It is also a great place to see Gurneys Sugarbirds, Buff-streaked Chat, Malachite Sunbirds, and both Cape and Sentinel Rock-thrush.
A short drive in the neighboring area should also be a delight for Raptor enthusiasts, as well as offering sighting of Yellow-throated Sandgrouse.

Today we drive to the world famous Kruger National Park...and even better, the Northern less frequented part of this magnificent Park. Approx 150 Km(2hr 30min)
The camp is situated in the Sandveld region that is often described as the botanical garden of the Kruger National Park. There are numerous plant species which occur that are unique to the area. Game species most likely to be sighted include impala, zebra, buffalo, elephant, eland and sable and the area is a bird paradise.
Spend the day getting to know the area and doing your own Game drives. Alternatively arrange a game drive with the local rangers.
Leaving the Park again, head South to the Klaserie Private Reserve. 280km(approx 4h30min) and on to your Lodge - Africa on Foot.
