Your choice of either an all day tour to White Island. Walk inside the crater of a live volcano. You may also decide to stay local with a 1/2 day of guided mountain biking followed by an afternoon of rafting down a waterfall or a guided quad bike experience,

Leave Rotorua at leisure making your way up to Tongariro Lodge for the night
Departing Rotorua at leisure. Explore Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and then stop off at and soak in the warm waters of Wairakei Thermal Hotsprings before heading into Taupo for lunch.
Have lunch at one of the many lakeside eateries on your way to Tongariro Lodge, an hour away.
Relax the day before your Tongariro Crossing experience.

Today is a chance to trek the iconic Tongariro Crossing. You will be picked up at the Lodge for an early start
Make sure that you bring a pack. Include water and a few energy bars or chocolate. Be aware that conditions can change quickly so wear layered clothing. Bring jacket and wear proper hiking boots.
