Day 1: Kwedi Concession

Meet your guide and host in Johannesburg. From there you travel to Botswana via a flight to Maun. It is from Maun that you then catch a charter flight which will take you into the Okavango Delta. The delta is breathtaking and boasts some of Africa’s best game viewing! With Moriti, all activities in the delta are guided, hosted and private. This ensures you get the best attention and game viewing opportunities. After a game drive, you head to your lodge and enjoy your first night under, what seems like a million stars

Days 2 - 3: Kwedi Concession

We suggest at least 3 nights at each lodge in this awesome wilderness area. Depending on the time of year, there are water camps and land-based camps which offer different activities. Moriti will spread you out at these camps. Each day you will enjoy guided activities. Boat safaris, open vehicle game drives, dug-out canoe adventures, fishing, walking… It is just another tough day in Africa out there. Mixed in with luxurious accommodation and excellent guiding and service, it is a winning recipe for a great safari. We will plan this section of the safari with your time and budget in mind

Expert tips

Make sure you camera is charged and you have space on your memory cards at the start of every game activity. During our colder months (April-October) please bring layers as it can be cool or cold in the mornings and evenings. It is easier to take a layer off at a time as the African sun does her best to warm you up

Days 4 - 6: Missing Point

From this point you can choose whether to stay in The Delta or head to The Central Kalahari Game Reserve. We will detail CKGR from here as this is the most popular choice

The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is a magnificent place! There are animals here that you don’t see anywhere else and it is the perfect place to go to after the delta. It is huge; over 13 million acres and is the second largest game reserve in the world.  The land is flat, and undulating covered with bush and grasses covering the sand dunes. It is a serious adventure to go out there and look for the animals that call the Kalahari home. It is a unique experience to be out in such a massive wilderness area. With gorgeous accommodation and the chance to meet the San Bushman, this is a great add-on. We highly recommend this
