Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a brief introduction a transfer will be arranged to the hotel where you will have time to spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
If you would prefer a more active afternoon, we have a few recommended optional trips that we can easily add to your itinerary.
After early breakfast you will depart at approximately 0830hrs for Lake Naivasha. You will enjoy a leisurely and scenic drive with a brief stopover at The View Point to marvel at the scenic beauty of The Great Rift Valley.
On arrival a transfer will be arranged to the Jetty to experience a fabulous boat ride. This is the perfect opportunity to view Hippos and hopefully the majestic African Fish Eagle hunting its prey.
You should arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and then you can spend the early afternoon at leisure.
These 2 days are dedicated to morning and afternoon game drives in the fantastic Masai Mara, with included picnic lunch.
The Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system.
Enjoy a final early morning game drive around 0630hrs in a last search for the beautiful Masai wildlife. You will then return to the lodge for breakfast and check out.
Enjoy a 4.5hrs leisurely journey to Rusinga Island arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch spend the afternoon at leisure as you relax by the lake side , or enjoy a swim in the pool or experience true tranquility at the Spa.
After breakfast a boat Ride will be arranged to Bird Island where you can marvel at the multitude of different bird species that are found in this area. Thereafter a visit will be arranged to Takawiri Island that boasts of white sandy beaches. Here you can experience a swim in Africa’s largest Lake. Return to the lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
After a beautiful sunrise and an early breakfast you will meet your Captain at the Jetty. Today you will explore the Lake in a Twin engine Motor Boat as you select a perfect spot to enjoy some fishing.
The Lake is famous for the very large Nile Perch that are found within these waters and you will have 3hours to enjoy the serenity, warm climate and the fishing. Return to the lodge with your catch and the chef will prepare for you a sumptuous meal!
After breakfast spend the morning at leisure. A 1 hour road transfer will be arranged to Kisumu Airport to board a scheduled flight to Nairobi. You will arrive in time for your onward flight home or you can choose to add an additional night in Nairobi before heading home.
