7-Day Mana Pools Tented Safari

Arrival and Transfer to Hwange National Park – late afternoon game drive

Arrive at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport and take a domestic flight to Mana Pools airstrip. Transfer to Camp Mana by road (about 30 minutes). Settle in your tented accommodation and enjoy the river and wildlife views. Have a delicious dinner and relax around the campfire.

Mana Pools Game Viewing Activities 

Wake up early and join your guide for a morning game drive or walk in the park. Mana Pools is home to elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, wild dogs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and many more

Return to camp for brunch and a siesta. In the afternoon, you can choose to go for another game drive or walk, or try a canoeing safari on the Zambezi River. This is a unique way to experience the wilderness and see the animals from a different perspective. Enjoy a sundowner drink on the riverbank and watch the sunset.

Mana Pools National Park 

Repeat day two activities or opt for a full-day excursion to explore other areas of the park. You can visit the Chitake Springs, where animals congregate around the water source, or the Chine Pool, where you can fish for tigerfish and bream.

Mana Pools National Park or Cultural Excursion

Repeat day two or three activities or join a cultural visit to a local village near the park. Learn about the traditions and lifestyles of the people who live in harmony with nature. You can also participate in some community projects such as building schools, clinics or boreholes. This is a great way to give back and make a difference.  Your assigned guide at Camp Mana will assist in arranging everything in order.

Repeat day 2nd, 3rd or 4th-day activities or book a scenic flight over Mana Pools and the Zambezi Valley. This is an amazing opportunity to see the landscape from above and appreciate its beauty and diversity. You might also see some wildlife from the air, such as elephants crossing the river or wild dogs hunting.

Repeat day 2, 3, 4 or 5 activities or enjoy a special bush dinner under the stars. This is a romantic and memorable way to celebrate your safari adventure. You will be served a gourmet meal in a secluded spot in the bush, surrounded by lanterns and candles. You might also hear some nocturnal sounds from the animals nearby

Departure 

Sadly this will be your last day. You will have a leisurely breakfast and pack your bags. Transfer to Mana Pools airstrip and take a domestic flight back to Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport. Connect with your international flight home or continue your journey to another destination.
