3 Day Budget Kruger Glamping Safari 2026

Your safari begins with a departure from OR Tambo Bus Terminal at 7:00 AM – please arrive no later than 6:45 AM to ensure a smooth start.

Travel through the scenic Highveld and Lowveld of Mpumalanga, arriving at Sekekama Tented Camp between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Upon arrival, enjoy time for a quick lunch (not included) and complete your check-in before the adventure begins.

The excitement kicks off with an afternoon sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle through the private Blue Canyon Reserve – keep your camera ready for the Big Five and other stars like giraffes, zebras, and hippos!

Sip sundowners in the bush as the sun dips below the horizon, then return to camp for a delicious African dinner and captivating stories around the boma fire.

Your day may proceed in one of two ways: an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or having breakfast at the lodge first, departing and returning later.

The exact departure times will be communicated to you the night before as it will be decided according to animal activity at the time to give you the best opportunity for game viewing.

Your safari in Kruger will last about 7 to 8 hours, during which you will venture deep into the Orpen-Satara area. You will return to the camp with ample time to unwind and get ready for a starlit dinner around the fire.

After breakfast it is time for good-byes and your return to Johannesburg. You should arrive back at OR Tambo International Airport around 17:00 or 18:00.
