Arrive Kigali International Airport in Uganda - time to be determined.
Clear Rwanda immigration - Canadians require a visa - request a double entry visa.
You will be met in the arrival hall by a Far Horizons Rwanda driver, look for him holding a welcome sign with your names. He will transfer you to the Hotel Mille Collines, which is a 20 minute drive away.

You will be collected from your hotel after breakfast, for Kigali city tour, which includes a visit to the Genocide Memorial Museum.
After lunch in the city (not include), you depart Kigali for the four drive to Lake Mutanda. Enroute, you will need to clear Uganda immigration - visa required.

*Please note that the Canadian government have issued a travel advisory against travel to certain parts of Uganda. The area is question is anywhere within 50kms of the Democratic Republic of Congo border. This would include the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where gorilla tracking takes place. The advisory advises against any unnecessary travel. The implications of this advisory are that you cannot be covered by a Canadian provider of travel insurance.

After an early breakfast, you will be collected from the hotel by your driver for the transfer to the Park headquarters. Here you meet up with your gorilla tracking guide who will brief you on the trek.
Gorilla trekking today is to be determined , and will require an early departure at 6:00am; Bwindi is a 1hr drive away and Mgahinga is a 1hr30m minute drive.
The treks can take between two and 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family you are tracking. There are porters on hand, for a fee ($20), to carry your day pack and provide walking sticks (very useful).

After at leisurely breakfast, and at about 10:00am, you will be collected from the resort for a road transfer back to Kigali. Includes a border crossing and Rwanda visa.
Arrive at Kigali Airport at about 4:00pm. Check into Kenya Airways flight to Nairobi departing at 6:35pm.
On arrival in Nairobi at 9:30pm (one hour time difference), clear Kenya immigration.. Canadians & American passport holders require a visa, obtainable on arrival, or online prior to travel - http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html . Or through the Kenya High Commission in Ottawa, or Kenya Embassy in Washington DC.
Once you have collected your luggage, make your way outside the terminal. You will be met in the arrival meet & greet area by a driver, look for him holding a welcome sign with your names.
Road transfer to Tamarind Tree Hotel, which is 40 minutes drive.
